HonorHealth Outpatient Therapy - Neuroscience Institute

Be forewarned! I visited Honor Health for a doctor appointment, NOT outpatient therapy. However, they billed for outpatient services in addition to the office visit. I did not find this out until I checked in for my appointment. I was told the fee could be up to $300, depending on my insurance. I think my copay for outpatient is $50, so that means my doctor office visit will cost $75 ($25 physician visit copay plus $50 outpatient services copay), instead of the $25, as it would have been with any other doctor group. This also assumes my insurance covers the "outpatient services" without prior authorization. Otherwise, I will be stuck with the entire charge. I just want to make everyone aware of this practice, so you can avoid an unexpected fee.

Dr Alhassan seemed very knowledgeable. He asked a lot of questions and seemed intent in listening. He was friendly and professional. In 78 years, I’ve never had a doctor come and get me from the waiting room themselves. I was pleased with how the appointment went.

The front office check in was wonderful. The nurse that I saw was very nice and made me comfortable. The neurologist was not. He was not helpful and was uncaring. I feel he did not listen to my problems. His response was, "you don't have nerve problems, you have a brain problem. Let me give you a pill. You need to see a headache doctor." I told him I have a problem with oral meds because I have stomach issues. He got frustrated and said, " what do you want me to do. If you can't take pills then what do you want." I'm sorry, but that was why I was there. To get help.

Warm, caring staff to greet you when you arrive, and with updates on the Dr being on time or behind. Dr Al-Hasan is an attentive, thorough and very experienced physician and specialist. You certainly get the impression that he is truly serious about getting to the root of the issue(s) and finding a way to help alleviate any symptoms and causes as painlessly, efficiently and effectively as possible. Very caring and versed in his field and it shows in his seriousness about finding you relief.

Dr Hatch was very through and patient. She explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Highly recommend this place and Dr Hatch.

Dr. AL-HASAN was very thorough and attentive. He's very good at putting you at ease. The office staff was great and friendly. Would recommend.

Dr Hatch listened to my concerns and questions and explained everything clearly. She took a lot of time with my husband and I. I would highly recommend her as a neurologist and a terrific person!

Dr Muley and all staff were great! Dr. was thorough in his exam and explanations of my condition. I departed with a more positive attitude concerning my prognosis. Thank you!
