I was a student of the PEER program and it was really beneficial for me. Thanks to the group I became able to hang out with friends outside of the group more. I had a better understanding of them and improved on making compromises. Also, who can forget Marlene’s boots. I definitely won’t forget them thanks to one of the group members. Definitely come here if you want to feel comfortable in the Social Skills group setting.

Hello, I’m a student of the PEERS program and what can I say I just love it. The facilitators were lovely and nice and flexible when we had an issue or disagreement. The facilities are always clean and I’m pretty sure the FDA would give them an A. P.S. the was a facilitator named Marlene and she had some tall laced boots that don’t look good but she likes them so I allow her to wear them for the time being.

We have used the services of Holding Hands Burbank for allmost 3 years. This place offers one of the best programs for kids on the spectrum. This facility has offered tremendous help to our son and we are very pleased with the outcome. The staff is amazing and is awlays ready to take on any challenge. Special shout-out to Mr. Patrick, Ms. Biayna, Ms .Monica and the rest of the team members.

If I could give zero stars I would. After speaking with two people last week, including Dr. Ziba the CEO of Holding Hands, I was told my daughter could receive counseling service and was approved to do so through my insurance with unlimited sessions and a co-pay of $25. Today the day of the appointment the Holding Hands has since changed their "definition of counseling" to psych services. We now would have to pay $120 out of pocket for a session until my insurance company approves child counseling services, which they already have. This place is playing games and is clearly in the business of money not helping children.

I would give 50 stars if I could. The staff there are nice, the kids are respectful and it didn’t feel awkward to do their PEERS social skills program. I would recommend for anyone looking for any therapy regarding autism. I feel accepted as an autistic teenager in the program.

Though my son learned important lessons every week, I think I learned even more. It was so helpful to be with other parents who were going through the same issues we were. The facilitators gave great advice that I use daily.

Holding Hands has been a great place to meet parents and the support in facilitating the meeting and giving hands on examples. It truly makes a big difference to get the suppot and the help that families need when things maybe challenging.

I highly recommend Dr. Monica. She is located at the Burbank and Calabasas office. Dr. Monica is extremely dedicated to helping each and everyone of the clients that come into the clinic. I am very familiar with the evidence based social skills services and training at the Burbank office lead by Dr. Monica for more than 12 years. Thank you!
