Bridget and Jason are good people. Bridget helped me stay injury free and taught me how to run efficiently. Her advice on how to run up hill and downhill helped me improved my overall pace. Her recommendations to focus on core and lower body strength training made me a stronger runner, who can endure longer and faster miles. Jason helped me improved my nutrition by ensuring that I was fueling and recovery properly after my runs. They hosted a fantastic Nutrition Roundtable with the focus on fueling before, during and after races. He also helped me break my negative perception of food and how important it was to eat carbs. I highly recommend coming to HighRoad Therapy for your health needs. Tommy Pham

I just recently had my first visit with Bridget to complete a 3D running gait analysis and a run readiness screening. Overall the experience was fantastic, and I recommend visiting her highly. Bridget was extremely comprehensive without being overwhelming giving me new insight on my running dynamics, and areas to improve. From the initial screening, to the 3D gait analysis Bridget leads you every step of the way, and within my first visit I saw improvement. Again, I could not recommend visiting her enough and will be looking forward to working with her in the future!

Went to Jason for a bike fit. I’d never had a proper fit done before and was a little apprehensive going into it. I enjoy cycling as a hobby, but certainly don’t pretend to know all the ins and outs of the sport. I went into the fit hopeful to come out of it with a more confidence in my riding style and address some issues that were causing pain when riding. Jason was great from the start. His goal was to get me dialed in and comfortable on the bike. He explained the methodology behind some of the techniques and tools being used. In addition Jason was helpful in giving pointers that would help with overall body fitness, not just related to cycling. I have a funky hip from an injury and wanted to make sure that I was riding in a position that wouldn’t cause additional pain, but also wouldn’t sacrifice too much on the power side. Was also having some issues with my seat. Jason made some adjustments to my saddle’s height and position relative to the frame that immediately made a positive impact. In addition, Jason examined my positioning and noticed a previous hand injury was likely causing additional tension on my elbow and trap muscle. I would have never have thought to adjust this on my own. With that adjustment, I immediately noticed a difference and lack of tension. After the fit, I spent the next 6 days on rides. After this much consecutive riding, I’d normally be in some pain by the end of the week. Instead, I’m now working on building up the muscles I should have been using previously. I’ve still got some work to do on flexibility, but now have confidence that I’m no longer “fighting” my bike and can work on improving my power transfer. Throughout the fit, Jason was super approachable and informative. No question of mine was too “ridiculous” or “noob-y”. Really appreciate Jason’s approach and would come back for future fits. Thanks for your help!

Bridget is the absolute best! By far the best physical therapy I have been to in CT, takes the time to try to give the best possible help for your injury!

Highly recommend High Road for both physical therapy and personal training. I have really enjoyed working with Bridget as she is competent, practical, and friendly. She finds the right balance of pushing you but not pushing too hard. She also has personal experience rehabbing sports injuries so she understands the challenges. The space is also awesome. It doesn't feel like a traditional gym - though it is well equipped - which makes for a very pleasant PT experience. I look forward to continuing my rehab/fitness journey at High Road.

I'm incredibly thankful for the care provided by Bridget at High Road PT on numerous occasions. Her expertise is outstanding, and her personal touch makes a world of difference. She's not only highly professional but also genuinely invested in my well-being and recovery as an individual. If you're searching for a skilled and caring physical therapist, I wholeheartedly recommend High Road PT.

I saw Bridget for help rehabilitating a lower back disc herniation after seeing two very unhelpful PTs at other practices and she was incredible. Our sessions were so useful because we continued to uncover new information about the injury and areas that needed work and how to best rehabilitate it as we made progress. Not like most PTs I've seen who just gave me exercises and told me to do them in the office by myself. After working with her, I built back up to deadlifting more weight than I was capable of before the injury. That was 5 years ago, and today when I looked her up to book a session, I'm sad to see she's no longer in NYC! Who ever read's this review, this is the best physical therapist you're going to find for sports injuries or spine injuries. And I hope you're doing well Bridget!

Dr. Bridget Dungan Twedt is amazingly wonderful. I had rotator cuff surgery and the orthopedic surgeon was very concerned about the pins pulling out due to issues with my bones, which were described as “cream brûlée.” Bridget was very careful to follow his guidelines and progress was steady. I appreciated that she gave an hour of PT, unlike others that only give 20 minutes and hand you off to a physical therapy assistant. She is highly knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. I can not say enough about her professionalism. Finally, her space is clean, organized, and has a great ambiance. She is the BEST PT I have encountered! I recommend her with enthusiasm.
