Heritage Manor of Ville Platte

Today I was so pleased that my relative (cousin) seemed happier and more settled than she has been in a long time. I think she even gained weight. She needed to. My mom and mother in law were residents in the past and it was always good. Being a life-long resident of Ville Platte has its perks, so many personal friends who are employed there makes it easy to feel the warmth.

Our first day was sad but comforting for us as we put our dad in the facility. The staff was excellent attending to him and us. We had lots of questions which the staff answered or attended to promptly. Dad hadn’t had lunch and lunch had ended. The attendant who was seeing about dad went to the kitchen and she brought a meal to the room for him. The first day was a positive experience even through the sadness of having him admitted to Heritage Manor. The place was very clean and well kept. The only minus was the noise outside the door from the washing crew talking and laughing loudly.

The caregivers are loving and friendly! It’s clean and if there’s something that needs to be cleaned they get to it! I’m very impressed and blessed my loved one is here! He’s not happy but he has dementia so he’s not happy and won’t be happy anywhere he would go, not even home where he wants to be!

Visited friend yesterday Tuesday August 22. Found staff to be friendly, facility was clean and had a fresh smell, not like some of the other faculties I have been to. I had a good visit. I like their entrance check in which recognized your facial profile and issues a photo ID to wear while there. I would recommend Heritage Manor at Ville Platte.

Establishing visits is quick and easy. The home is clean and orderly. The rooms are adequate size. Staff is polite and respectful.

My mother said she couldn’t be more happy. She said the food is awesome, and all nurses and aids are also awesome.

Just want to say thanks to the GREAT STAFF at this facility! Always on top of every situation when it comes to the care of our father who is currently a resident !!! Feel confident in the great job that they do! Keep up the excellent work!

Heritage Manor took excellent care of my Godmother, Ethel Williams up until her passing. It would be a place that I would love to work, so I dropped by to fill an application of employment. The staff was friendly and informative as usual.
