Helping Hands Family - ABA Therapy

The staff at the Paoli location has been absolutely amazing. I was hesitant to start ABA after my son’s diagnosis, especially after my own research yielded polarizing opinions. We started outside Speech and OT along with SPED preschool where he received speech and OT. I became a SAHM to help support him as well. He was non verbal so we sought out an AAC device through speech for communication. After just 6 months of help through ABA therapy he has gained so many skills and grown significantly. He is now potty training, more socially apt and he’s gained speech!! ABA was the missing link we needed to help him grow. We can’t thank the staff involved with his therapy enough for their compassion and diligence.

Everyone at HHF Paoli were wonderful when it came to the care of my child. They were accommodating and every person there always took the time to listen. My child truly loved going there everyday. We’ve since transferred to a HHF closer to our home but we are so thankful to everyone at Paoli for the care and hospitality they provided!

I was very hesitant about having my daughter start ABA. I had looked into it and had read horror stories about averse punishment methods and unpleasant reinforcement.. or something along those lines. Point blank, I was fearful. I didn't want my daughter to go through that! I think she's perfect how she is (meltdowns and all) and didn't want her to feel like she had to change because of consequences she would face in therapy. That's not the case at all at Helping Hands. Her team is wonderful (all the Megan's)! She has the opportunity to play and learn with other kids to build social skills and does table work to prep for traditional classroom settings. I've watched her go from echoing to being able to have back and forth conversation, answering questions, and letting me know what she needs! And it's not just conversation but a variety of skills she's learned. She's able to be herself and keep being her wonderful self! Her BCBA is also very informative and is loaded with information and tips on caring for a child with autism and understanding their thought process. Any questions I have I can just send her a quick email and she's on it! Sheila, you're wonderful! And most importantly, my daughter is happy to be there and looks forward to seeing her peers and the rest of the team. If you are looking for an ABA clinic I highly recommend HHF in Paoli.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! The staff when you walk in are always so sweet! Lisa B. is outstanding and went out of her way to help me learn about ABA & taught me skills to use on my own. Claire always reached out with open appointment times and was considerate of the time commitment it takes to get my son there. When your child receives this diagnosis it’s a different level of shock and mixed emotions that only a mother can feel. This company made the whole process easy every step of the way. I never leave reviews but this place deserves all the praise.

Helping Hands has been amazing! Our son has grown so much thanks to the team of amazing therapists there! Sheila is such a special person and has truly helped us so much. We love Helping Hands and the wonderful staff there!

My child has only been at Helping Hands Family for 6 months and my husband and I have already seen significant progress in his speech, behavior and overall willingness to learn. The staff is very professional and is in constant contact with us on our son’s progress. His therapists have offered excellent advice and exercises that we have been able to incorporate at home. Our son actually asks to go to therapy and it filled our hearts when we learned he had made a friend.

We love HHF Paoli! We are so happy with all of the RBTs who work with our daughter and her BCBA is probably someone we'd be friends with if we met in a social situation. They all seem to genuinely care about our kiddo's progress and her state of mind. (HHF has even helped us immensely with regulating her sleep!) They are so open to working with her other locations/services, always keeping what's best for our daughter in mind. They are great about communicating proactively and approaching everything with a team mindset. We really are so fortunate to be working with them on behalf of our little one. We'd highly recommend them!

Helping hands has been a godsend to our family. The RBT’s are professional, knowledgeable and most importantly personable… I can tell they really care about my son and his development. The staff is also very responsive and helpful with navigating services and scheduling needs. It’s amazing to see the gains my son has had in such a short period of time. I highly recommend helping hands!
