What a mistake I made by buying a membership here! First they told me they would waive the $99 annual fee if I joined, and I'd only be charged $103 each month for my 2 kids and I. But the very next month they took that $99 annual fee, plus another $42 annual fee without my knowledge or authorization, on top of my $103 monthly payment, for a total of $250! That is OUTRAGEOUS! They're not even open during hours that are easy to accommodate. So I've only ever went just a of couple of times, as they close at 3pm on weekends and 9pm Mon-Thurs. They won't even refund my money to cancel my membership and go someplace else, so I have to just try and make the best of it. I shouldn't have to feel that way, they have failed at customer satisfaction for sure!

Good spot to work out, plenty of equipment for the things you might want to do. Never that busy either, although I don't go in the evenings so not sure.

Looking for a new gym, shopping around and visited this gym today. The staff were all EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. The facility is very nice with a large range of accommodations and function (weights, sports courts, group classrooms, pool, locker room, massage beds etc...). Monthly fee was quite steep, but I suppose it makes sense if you will use everything they offer, they have to run quite a diverse facility. They also asked for a strangely INVASIVE amount of personal information, which was very odd. Even more odd that it was just to see the facility. I declined to share (the unnecessary bits) and they still let me see. I cannot speak to if it's required for a membership though, so be wary of that my friends.

Excellent place, extremely well managed. I recently moved to this area and happy I joined this club. Although I have never personally met the manager Divya, I have heard things about her. Last night I scheduled a session for my infant son to be in the kid zone and when someone was not present, the front desk immediately called Divya and arranged a substitute.

I just moved to the area and joined the gym at the beginning of this month. I am 8 months pregnant and the pool is the only physical relief and exercise I am able to safely do at the moment. Being a high-risk pregnancy at the height of cold and flu season I attempted to come to the pool during adult swim time for the safest option. At 8:40 there was still a young girl (who was coughing every time she came up from a lap) in the pool with her mother. I went to the front desk to double-check that I had the adult swim time correct. I returned and politely explained to the woman that it was adult swim from 8:30-9:45 to which she replied ‘no’ and refused to get her out of the pool. Another 3 young boys came into the pool at this time. Frustrated as I had waited all day for the appropriate time to come find some relief from my physical pain, I walked back out to the front desk where the employee explained he was still waiting for coverage to be able to get to the pool area. When he finally came in, the men with the boys began raising their voices and also refused to get out of the pool; one man even began yelling directly at me. At this point I was brought to tears; I had been waiting all day for 8:30 to go swimming. I pay as much as everyone else for a monthly membership and am only able to use one small area of the gym during one limited time each day. To be refused what was offered to me when I signed up, while being yelled at by another customer, and then to have the Healthtrax employee do nothing to fix the situation or enforce the adult swim (he left the 3 adults and 4 children in the pool at 9pm so I had nowhere to swim and went home) - extremely poor management and customer service. I’m upset and disappointed as this is the only pool available in the area so I am unsure what else I will be able to do to maintain physical activity and comfort for the remainder of my pregnancy.

I tried 4 other local-to-Bristol gyms, and I keep coming back here. I love that the trainers aren't pushy - they let me do my thing and leave without a hassle. I haven't been solicited to try training since I moved to this location- and for that I am grateful! The woman at the front desk in the early morning is always pleasant. It seems they're slowly updating the facility , which is nice. A few suggestions : add a (huge) rock wall, theater, pool, open at 4am (or 24 hour access would be nice).
