The staff our not professional. We had Hurricane Helena and they were closed but needed the referral and told me that there’s no way they would get it by fax in time for my daughters appointment that following Monday on Monday I told them I would come in with the referral in hand which I did have in hand however they scheduled me weeks out because they did not have the availability and had the nerve to tell me that the referral was expired by one day. The referral was not expired when I booked the appointment and they expired after 60 days, when I say it’s a hassle to even find anyone who does occupational therapy and then to find a place that books you weeks out to only treat you like this is unacceptable and if I could give them zero stars, I would talk to the Director, who could only apologize and tell me that she could reschedule me when I’ve already been waiting weeks if that’s their policy and can’t accept one day outside when I had to accept being booked for weeks out, they are not professionals in any way shape or form

My son goes for therapy here twice a week, for almost a year. Since day one we were treated like family. The scheduling was smooth, the evaluation process was professional. He has multiple therapists and they are all exceptional Derrion, his occupational therapist, Nelson and Charity both his speech therapists. Since we started at Beth Ingram my son is thriving, nicely able to adjust to his cerebral palsy and overcome his speech delay. As for the staff, I am amazed how both Rose and Abby at the front desk are able to maneuver back and forth between English and Spanish speaking patients. How professionally they are handling cancellations, rescheduling and all sorts of difficulties. They always go over and beyond when it comes to our appointments and I have no doubt everybody is treated the very same way. They are always cheerful and polite as soon as you walk in, and that is the first impression you want to get, when you leave your child there for their session. The place in overall is always clean and organized. So in general I do highly recommend them.

I walked in the office and signed in. The ladies at the front desk are NOT welcoming. I sit there for about 15 minutes and the lady called me and my son to the back she asked if I had already did my paperwork. Nope I said. Because the front desk ladies slack on doing there job. So my son's speech therapist had to get the paperwork for me to fill out during my son's appointment. I would have liked to have my full attention on his appointment but I was doing paperwork. They need to be more welcoming and they need to do their job. Very rude.

My son has been going here for about six months for speech and occupational therapy. I do not have one negative thing to say about ANY of his therapist. He’s made progress with them and he loves them. And the only reason I’m keeping my son here is because of the therapist. But I do have a problem with is the people who work the front desk and answer the phones. I canceled a speech therapy in March and had not attended that appointment since. Randomly got a call after not even receiving a text message reminder for this appointment since canceling saying they were going to be kicking him out because of no shows to an appointment I already cancelled in March. This all happened yesterday, June 15th. So when I called the front desk to speak with the woman who works it she decided to get attitude with me and tell me that she’s even seen MY own husband bring MY child in to that appointment and I KNOW that’s not the case. Also said there was no note on cancelling the appointment on file. After she told me she’s seen my husband and child and argued with me, I got attitude with her and hung up on her because I was tired of the bold face lies with attitude. So I had my husband call back so he can let the lady know that he wasn’t bringing my son or himself there at that appointment time on that day and hadn’t been since March as well. She decided to go back and look into the file after already canceling him and taking him off the schedule and find THERE WAS A NOTE back in March that we wanted to cancel. And then proceeds to tell my husband that I attacked her and got my son kicked out of therapies when in reality she was wrong from the beginning and ran her mouth to somebody she shouldn’t of and didn’t expect to get it back but she did. Even went as far to tell my husband that the conversation was recorded. I freaking hope so because that woman was telling me that my son and my husband were somewhere and I was wrong when in reality that wasn’t the case, please tell me how you would’ve handled that situation if you were in my shoes? Also I was notified by my insurance that they’ve been charging them for appointments he supposedly attended BUT HADN’T SINCE MARCH. Still have the letter! I truly hope corporate or whomever is higher up sees this comment and gets control of the Lakeland office and the people who are working the front desk. After seeing she was wrong she continued to bash me to my own husband claiming to be attacked when she had attitude from the beginning trying to tell me where my kid is and isn’t every Tuesday at 12:30. And then when she finds out she’s wrong instead of apologizing or being at least the slightest bit of humble she bashes a patients mother TO HER OWN HUSBAND ON A RECORDED LINE when I was right the entire time. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! So asinine! I hope corporate or whomever has access to that phone call listens to how that woman spoke to me and why she got the attitude back and also listen to the phone call with my husband. She needs to lose her job she did not conduct herself in an appropriate manner at all!

This place is a complete joke. The billing department is just a joke they can’t even make sure everyone accepts the same insurance before going through with an authorization. After my child is out of therapy for about 3 months due to an insurance issue and just an FYI if your child needs a new evaluation just plan on them not receiving therapy for at least a month if not more. After waiting the 3 months between the insurance and the availability they had available they finally tell me everything was approved by my insurance and we could schedule his evaluation so we did the appointment was scheduled in June. Now I get a call yesterday saying the person who does the evaluations accepts my child’s insurance however the therapist on staff does not. I’m not even gonna go into detail and explain why this doesn’t make sense. The therapist are great while they are employed by Beth Ingram however this place can not keep an OT therapist on staff. We’ve gone through three in a year. So of course at this point I find a new therapist. On top of all this I also figure out Beth Ingram is literally double the price of pediatric therapy service for example Beth Ingram wanted 120$ for Evals pediatric therapy services wanted 58 for an eval. And what took Beth Ingram a month to do with my insurance literally took pediatric therapy services a day. So my opinion unless you want a headache if pediatric therapy services accepts your insurance go to them because I promise if your child needs OT this is NOT the place to receive it.

As a mother to a special needs child who has been attending Beth Ingram Therapy Center since July 2017, I'm totally befuddled by some of the reviews I see here. This place is incredible and so are all of the therapists we have had the pleasure to work with and those that run the show. When we started our journey here, my daughter barely spoke and was totally inaudible, couldn't jump properly with both feet, and was scared to even get dirt on her hands. Today, she is ahead of many of her peers in global language and has steadily met every goal that's been set for her. Her motor skills have improved dramatically, so much so that she just moved up in gymnastics and she loves cooking and gardening! Carrissa goes above and beyond EVERY SINGLE TIME and the therapists are compassionate, understanding, and WONDERFUL with the kids they work with. They teach carryover and are highly skilled in their areas of expertise. My daughter is leaps and bounds from where she was and we owe much of that to Beth Ingram's Staff. If you want people who really care about you and your kids, this is the place for you.

More of a "heads up" than a review: This office is not accepting new patients. They have not accepted new patients since July of 2021 and have no foreseeable time frame for openings to accept new patients. This is likely why phone calls are not returned. I mentioned updating their website and it was acknowledged they they have tried.

If I could give this place zero stars I really would. It really has nothing to do with her therapist, she was great... but the staff... they need to take a look at! My daughter was going here for a while and her therapist changed her schedule. No big deal... except I never got a call to change her appt and they changed her appt time without my knowledge. They rescheduled her for 3pm which I was not able to keep because I work! My daughter missed days and when I called to get things fixed I was over promised all These things to fix it and nothing was done. They even told me they scheduled my daughter for an appt and then basically called me a LIAR and said she never told me that time or date !! I will leave a bad review everywhere I can because this place is a JOKE! I tried so hard to really try with this place but it is a shame how they treat people!
