I have been suffering with lymphedema after I had vein therapy. The vein doctor even ordered me a lymphedema pump to try to help with the swelling. It didn’t help at all. My daughter found HEALING THE GENERATIONS during a search to, hopefully, find help for me. And indeed she did!!! Wouter knew exactly what to do to help me in a relatively short period of time. With massage and wrapping, my legs and feet became normal again. I am so thankful for Wouter’s kindness and incredible skill in helping me! I recommend him highly!!!!!

My cardiologist suggested Healing the Generations close to a year ago for ankle and leg swelling. I put off going as I thought there was a lot of construction out that way and wasn’t sure how they would treat Lymphodema. Well April 20 th ,my granddaughters wedding, I got a new dress but at 4 o’clock no way could I stand my swollen feet in dress shoes and changed to tennis shoes. Wedding photos in new dress and tennis shoes. My daughter said let’s make an appointment with Healing The Generations and a week and half later I couldn’t be happier with the results.( not so much compression socks to maintain) Wouter Vanderhorst explained everything, patiently answered our questions. Treatment was painless and somewhat relaxing and some of the final leg measurements were 3” smaller from the first day. . I was just amazed and thankful to finally have my normal legs and ankles. Thanks Wouter, can’t thank you enough. I am a believer. Joan Barker

My sister goes here for lymphedema therapy. Her legs were in terrible condition to start with. The right was 3X the size of the left, both were crusted over, swollen, and angry. In less than 6 months Wouter reversed a lifetime of damage with the sizes of each leg close to the same now. The skin is normal & healthy and she is now on once a month maintenance. I never dreamed her recovery would be so complete and lasting. She's 82 years old now and in the best shape of her life. The therapy and lifestyle changes to support lasting change have resulted in her losing almost 100 pounds to date. Most of it retained fluid. Go here & follow their advice & recommendations and you can have the same results.

I have lymphedema in both legs below the knees.both feet swell up also but the left is worse than the right.Wouter has been doing therapy on them and it keeps swelling down.I get pains in left leg from time to time and the treatments help with them also. Nadine and Wouter treat you like family and have a lot of services to offer. Check out their website, you will be glad you did.

I love them... My daughter has improved so much since starting her physical therapy here. Mary Ellen is the best PT! I love her.. She takes time and she treats you as family not as a client. She wants whats best for my child and her well being. I am glad that my daughter is apart of such a caring place.

Haven't been able to sleep through the night in over 20 years, because of my chronic back pain. After receiving Cold Laser Therapy from Nadine, I can finally sleep! I can't thank her enough.! Highly recommend.

*No hired receptionist at the front desk meant unpredictable wait times. *Being that there is no hired receptionist, your call will almost ALWAYS go to voicemail. *Waiting room is very cramped and unwelcoming to children. So much so that I spent my waiting time with my small children in my car. Sad that we were better off that way.... *Executive staff is harsh and strict to a fault. Every time we couldn't make an appointment, I called to notify. The only times we didn't make it, it was for legitimate cause. Not once was it intentional. The one and only time we didn't call or show up (due to family emergency), the owner had to tell us that both of my children's therapists had decided to "let go" of them as patients. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? THEY ARE CLEARLY ABOUT THE DOLLAR, NOT THE PEDIATRIC PATIENT. The nerve the therapists had to not tell me themselves. My kids are both now ridiculously upset that they will never see their therapists again. Do the therapists care about working with patient scheduling and being accommodating? NO. They will drop you like trash. Yes, I'm Talking to you, L. (speech therapy) and M.E. (physical therapy), SHAME on you two! Those girls SINCERELY LOVED you and you DROPPED them, like trash, without ANY consideration to what was going on. You two really need to reconsider working with children if you're just going to break hearts! My daughters are military children who have to move frequently, so whoever they come across and come to love (you two), it is a remarkable love, but now you've broken them. They loved you as people so much that I gave you the benefit of the doubt when over the passed months, I saw only little changes while you were working with them. OVERALL: huge disappointment. You're much better off elsewhere! NOTE TO L (speech therapist): As Mia was going to bed tonight I started off a bedtime story. "Once upon a time there was a princess. Do you know what her name was?" Mia said, "Yes! Princess Miss Wauwa." :) "But where did she go???" :( I hope you feel good about your decision.
