Mrs. Ashley is wonderful with children. I can not fully express how patient and kind she is. She builds trust and uses play therapy to reach children and helps parents learn to connect better with their children. We saw her for almost 5 years, and she truly impacted our family for the better.

I placed an earlier review of Healing Connections that wasn’t positive because of a poor experience working with Ashley Arredondo. More than 50% of our scheduled meetings were canceled abruptly with less than one hour notice between us, Ashley and her staff over the course of five months. When trying to reach her or her staff to reschedule, we were unable to get anybody on the phone and were forced to send text messages to her personal phone number. Instead of getting help, we received constant responses justifying her lack of commitment to helping our child and his needs. Somehow, she disputed the review and it’s being removed. As I promised to do previously, I will post proof that my claims are legitimate and real, and it took place the way I stated. Ashley Arredondo was recommended to us by my son’s preschool in Tehachapi for therapy. The Director of the preschool worked out a schedule with Ashley directly. Unfortunately, Ashley and her staff do not communicate well and our son was unable to start therapy for more than two months beyond the initial scheduled date of service because the time that we were initially offered was also offered to multiple other families. During our brief encounter, when working with Ashley, we did not make progress with our son. A lot of time and energy was spent talking about what she could do for him during the visits, but not actually implementing anything into action. Besides the text messages attached to this review, I have saved voicemails that I could attach if Google allowed for such information.

Ashley is great with children. My child has improved immensely and we are glad we contacted Healing Connections
