Haven Health Lakeside

After our horrible vehicle accident, I spent a week in the hospital and transferred to Haven Health in Lakeside. I spent 2 weeks here. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE in this facility were totally excellent. I got the best help and care from all employees. Some of the patients should show more respect for all those who work here, without them and their dedication to their job and patients, you wouldn't get well as fast as you do. I saw RUDE patients and their families who treated the workers terrible. I was in a room with another patient that was selfish, rude and extremely inconsiderate not only to me but to the employees there that were only trying to help her. (Thank God I was released the next morning, one night with this patient was enough). Hats off to all you employees at this facility. You all are and will always be in my family's and my prayers.

My mother is in this place recovering from surgery and someone stole all of her clothes. What kind of crappy place doesn’t provide a secure dresser with a lock for patients to store their belongings. Do not place your loved ones here to recover. What an absolutely despicable thing to steal clothes from a 72 year old woman. Seems the staff doesn’t care either from what she told me.

My husband and my mother are both long-term residents of Haven Health Lakeside. Having been a nurse for over 30 years, you can observe things from a clinical standing along with a personal view. Haven Health Lakeside is where we chose to make home for both my sweet hubby and my mom. They are not perfect. However, they fix any issues we have quickly and to our satisfaction. I can say with 100% certainty that they have the most caringing and compassionate staff I have ever worked with. They get to know the patients and share the good and bad days right along side of them. The CNAs are quick and competent. (Wish they could hire more) The RNs are very smart and aggressive with solving patient medical concerns. Pt & OT are AWESOME! They even have the therapy dog Jax. 🐕 Management listens to the issues and resolves them quickly. Even the front desk staff take time to learn your first name. Please consider this a referral for Haven of Lakeside. Do your homework, review others' experiences, tour with Tony. I think you will find a great place for your loved one.

This facility is a nice place, very trusting, very professional in everything they do there. I seen the Resident and there all happy. The kitchen is always the place to hit the spot of awesome food for the Resident and guest, Michelle is doing a good job . I highly recommend this place there work skills deserve the 5stars👏 .

My Mother was placed in Haven Health Lakeside for PT after a heart condition that caused her to lose balance, ability to walk, and ability to stand. The PT, OT and cognitive Therapy have worked with her and within weeks I saw a change. She has improved and is not sleeping all the time and confused either. Her cognitive function. Is so much better and she can remember and talk to us again. Her standing and walking has improved immensely. They have her working with weights for strength in her arms and I see a big improvement. I'm so glad we had the chance to take her to Haven Health Lakeside. I appreciate the Case WorkersPT, OT and cognitive staff, they are all wonderful. I have set in on many sessions with my mother and I appreciate them all. The facility is a very good facility and I'm so glad they were there for us.

Nursing staff is always attentive, all the employees are very friendly. The facility is always very clean, five stars all the way! It is always nice to see how active Kayla is with entertainment with the guests doing games and crafts she does such a great job.

My mom has been in Haven of Lakeside for almost 3 months now. The care she has been getting has been so helpful. The staff are very kind and attentive to her needs. When I have any kind of concerns, they are responsive and helpful. My mom enjoys being there and I so appreciate all that they do for her.

Very nice place. Very caring professionals. The residents seems very happy. Very welcoming to all visitors. Thank you Haven of Lakeside for being a loving place for our families that need support. The activity department imparticular have the nicest people who care and have so much fun with the residents.
