Haven Health Flagstaff

I've been a patient here for the last few weeks for rehab. So far, it's been very disappointing due to being understaffed. Most of their C.N.A.'s are terrific and are doing the work of 3. As my time here continues, I have received treatment for issues i didn't have when I was accepted here, which took 20 days, give or take, and they started talking about discharge. My insurance covered 100 days. I've had to appeal 2 notices, which have caused tremendous unnecessary stress. Long-term care seems to be what they prefer. They do help a lot of people from the Navajo and Hopi reservation and seem to be their preference for short-term care. I had a fall today and taken to the hospital for x-rays, but I have to wait until tomorrow for a report and hopefully receive something for my pain. My stay so far has been 33 days, and I'm fighting another form saying my insurance won't pay.

When I visited my aunt on Oct 22, 2024, place was clean & orderly. Nurses & staff were courteous and friendly, Due to some1 stealing her shoes in her room, I bought new shoes and safety socks for her and wrote her name on them with permanent black marker. I forgot to tell them that I was unhappy about my aunt having bruises and a cut above her eyes due to falling out of her wheelchair because she fell asleep in it. I hope this doesn't happen again, I also told my aunt that if she feels sleepy in her wheelchair to please go to her bed to rest and don't sleep in the wheelchair. So to owner & Staff please take good care of my Aunt Rose H, she is very precious to all her family, and don't want her falling and banging her head or having any other injuries. I am so impressed with the staff. They are caring and helpful. Vanessa and Eugene are wonderful. I have to have daily attention which they both provide with care while giving me dignity. It’s a pretty tough journey when you are totally dependent on others. Thank you !

Not only is the staff wonderful, but my grandmother loves the care she gets. While no family wants to put their loved one in a nursing home, finding a great place with a kind and caring staff has made all the difference. Now we have peace of mind and when we visit, she’s happy and comfortable.

Violet Benally is an amazing CNA at New Haven. She is caring, compassionate and goes the extra mile for her patients and family.

Management needs to seriously look into who they hire. Had several complaints from friends and family regarding employee: CM. No communication, backlash when trying to speak with her, etc. This facility needs to have employees that actually CARE about the medical field, their patients and fellow staff. Not someone who will ignore and dismiss you.

I was in Haven Heath of Flagstaff after recovering from pneumonia, I am a transplant patient, and have complicated medications, the staff was knowledgeable and very attentive, therapy helped me learn to use my new prosthetic. Gail in wound care healed my pressure ulcer on my heal. Erin was very kind and made sure I got out of the building to ensure my mental health. This staff gives it their all. Great place to recover and get cheered on to achieve your goals.
