The social worker and a few of the cna's and nurses were awesome. Unfortunately, they weren't the only ones caring for my brother. The facility was unnecessarily loud all night every night. Meds were never passed on time, often hours late. Rarely did anyone respond to the nurse call button. The food was almost always cold. When doing my brother's wound care, 48 hour after it was instructed by his surgeon, they removed a portion of his skin graph.

This place is a joke. My loved one has sat in his pee more than once and is always being yelled at and then ignored. It's surprising that this establishment is able to continue with this kind of treatment.

My mother in law was in this facility for several weeks. We visited her twice while she was here and both times she seemed so happy with the services. She raved about the food, and all the great help she was receiving.

My wife had a lower lumbar Fusion on her L5&S1(major surgery) on October 24th. She was hospitalized after until the 27th(Friday). She was then told she was going to be transferred to a rehabilitation facility to start her recovery time (3-6months) & she had a choice on which one she was going to, & this was the only one in Ogden that had 4+ stars. Here's how the 8 days went; She had one shower, whenever she pushed her button for a nurse(which wasn't often) it took the staff 20-30 minutes to respond & then an hour or two for her to receive her medication, she was a fall risk which they knew & needed to stay on top of her pain management but due to their negligence she was constantly at a 7-8. The room got swept but mopped only once & there were flies coming up from the sink so I used tissue to plug it up! Overall this place needs better staff training & more compassion for the residents especially the ones that are there for longer-term. There were a few staff members that were diligent & timely but most just didn't care in my eyes! If I could give zero or negative stars I would have! Harrison Pointe needs to do better!

The good things about this facility was their physical therapy staff, office staff—Rachel, some of the nurses —and a couple of the CNA’s (Nancy). But I felt the facility was not clean and well taken care of (although the maintenance man was great. He took care of a heating problem in my room quickly and efficiently. He was great!) When the cleaning person would come in to clean-it was basically sweeping up any big trash that was easily visible. It took her less than 1 minute. There was never any sanitizing of bed tables or others areas—or mopping the floor. The lack of cleanliness in my room was a concern-but cleanliness and sanitation are a big deal to me. One night -a CNA came in to empty my catheter bladder. She did not but on gloves or wash her hands after—and then she picked up my water container to refill it. This was unsettling. I know they are probably short staffed—and there are many unpleasant tasks. It often took a long time for CNA’s to respond to call button—but I assumed they were responding to others with worse problems than mine. Nancy-one of the CNA’s was great! Prompt, caring, compassionate and gave you the feeling that she really cared. Another CNA was also very good-but I can’t remember her name (a little older, longer hair-pulled back in a bun or pony tail type style.). She was the night shift and was also very good. So—there is good and bad. The colors in the room are dark—somewhat depressing and dingy. I was so anxious to go home! The office staff seemed efficient and thorough and very nice. Therapists really helped me (Michael, Julie, Lindsay). This was my first time in a rehabilitation center—and it was hard. My first 3 days I shared a room with a woman dealing with some big issues and in a lot of pain. I didn’t sleep much at all those days—but I felt so bad for her. She waited over an hour for someone to come in to change her diaper. She really suffered (Wendy).
