Years ago I had a herniated disc in my neck giving me atrophy in my left side I could not use my arm or my hand for weeks. I lost nearly all muscle and my ability to be a musician for two years. In the beginning my pain was so bad that no amount of pain killers were able to relieve it without harming me or knocking me out completely to the point of being dangerous.
