Hanger Clinic: Prosthetics & Orthotics

I have been a patient of Wasim at Hanger Clinic for over a year, and unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Despite being patient and repeatedly communicating my concerns, I still have not received a socket for my above-the-knee amputation that meets my standards or needs.Throughout this time, I have consistently explained to Wasim what I needed in a functional and comfortable socket. However, no matter how many times I voiced my concerns, the result was always the same—an ill-fitting, uncomfortable socket that does not serve its intended purpose.When creating a socket, a prosthetist must pay attention to the needs of their patient. A functional, comfortable socket that does not cause pain should be the bare minimum expectation in this profession. Unfortunately, Wasim has failed to deliver on this fundamental aspect of care. What is the use of being in this profession if you are not in tune with your patients? My experience has left me deeply disappointed and questioning the level of care provided. I would not recommend Hanger & Wassim's services to anyone seeking quality prosthetic care.

Staff and doc are great to work with and very knowledgeable. They made the entire process enjoyable and stress free! The office is easy to find, appt availability is flexible and I am 100% satisfied. Thank u!

I thought they were wonderful! The staff was kind and the man who fit me for my knee brace was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had an equally great experience when I had to go back to get it refitted. Highly recommend!

Hangar Folsom The worst front desk person ever. No greeting, on the phone for lengthy period, frown, long wait with no explanation, helped others before she ever said hi, let alone, " may I help you?".

The worst customer service ever, they were supposed to order a custom brace and they decided no to order and not to notify me at all of their decisions, I only found out because I called few times. The receptionist answering the phone was so rude. The male technician taking the measurements had finger full of oil and grease more like a car mechanic than a medical clinic technician, hands were very gross and not even had a decency to wear gloves. So rude and not caring for their customers, so disappointing, seems that complains fall in hollow ears, they do nothing about it.

I have been waiting for 4 months for them to fit me for shoes. I've called multiple times. Usually get the answering service and do not get a call back. They say the wrong doctor sent in notes about my exam. They want my primary doctor instead of my podiatrist notes. I've seen the fax. It was from my primary I've had nine for surgeries. I'm tired of painful feet. I can hardly walk. I called and actually talked to some one last week. They said they would call me back on the same day. 7 days later no return call. I just called again, answering service. DON'T GO HERE!

Welcoming staff professionals August is awesome he fit my orthotics and shoes. Did a great job with a quality product. Good choices to pick from.
