Hands On Rehabilitation

Jody is HANDS ON (pun intended) Amazing! I broke my wrist in Florida, in December. I had surgery in January, which required a plate and 9 pins. I was in occupational therapy in Florida and was healing well. I came back to Ohio in May and found a place that did PT. I was with them for 6 weeks, with no improvement. I found Jody thru google search because I was looking for someone that just did hand therapy. I came to Jody with very limited range of motion with my wrist, as well as a frozen shoulder. In a few visits, I was making noticeable improvement with my range of motion as well as pain! Jody spends an entire hour with me. She has her very experienced hands on me the entire time. It's like she can feel thru my skin and knows exactly how to treat me for each visit, and each one is different. I can honestly say that I recommend Jody Heyman 100%. She has given me the use of my hand and shoulder back. I am no longer in pain and its nice to be able to do the things that I enjoy that I was unable to do up until now. I am truly indebted to her. She is very compassionate and caring and makes my visits very worthwhile. Thank you Jody, you truly are amazing!

Hands on Rehabilitation is the best hand, wrist, arm, therapy around NE Ohio! It’s worth the trip to see Jody and start your rehab with her, she is absolutely amazing. Her knowledge and approach to working with you is outstanding, and always in a relaxed, comfortable environment. Going to a private practice for therapy should always be at the top of your list with an injury. Reason being, you are given that 1-on-1 attention during your time at rehab with her specifically. This alone will launch your recovery faster than in any hospital setting where the attention will not just be on you, but multiple patients at a time per therapist. Jody, thank you for your care and working with me on my hand and wrist injury. I know with the work we have been doing, especially your hands on massages for scar tissue and the tools you use, I’ll be back to moving my hand/wrist freely and doing push ups (my main goal) again in no time! I’ve already progressed so quickly! Thank you again for all you do for me and people who have injuries like me. It can never be said enough. Thank you!

Awesome! I am so glad my orthopedist referred me to Hands On Rehabilitation. I'm a tournament level pickleball player. My wrist was hurting so bad that it was suspected to be broken. Turned out to be arthritis combined with bad tendonitis. Jody Heyman at Hands On Rehabilitation is a very caring person and a certified hand specialist, exactly what my orthopedist wanted me to see. She has used multiple techniques to work wonders with my wrist to help me return to playing well again!

Jody is incredible! Not only did she help my chronic pain almost disappear, but she did it in just a few months. Compared to years of going to a regular physical therapist and still struggling with pain that just was not tolerable for everyday. She also passes on a lot of power and knowledge to you so that you can help yourself and ultimately live pain free!

Jody is amazing! She provides top quality, one on one patient care which is individualized to each of her patients’ needs. In a short period of time she has helped me with my complex injury go from feeling hopeless that my arm would never be used the same again to seeing results in my mobility, strength, pain levels and overall function. I had hand surgery 8 days before my move to this area. My doctor researched and found Jody for me. I had a large scar tissue forming at the base of my finger. It is now gone and she’s helping me gain my flexibility and strength. She is personable, skilled and effective. I certainly recommend her.
