Hands On Physical Therapy - Zebulon

Stayed there about 6 weeks ago while recovering from upper back surgery. Got daily rehab sessions in a group. If you don't want to sit around but want to be active this is where you need to be.friendly staff, understanding patient and kind.

I had a pulled tendon in my ankle, and really thought that my ankle was never going to be the same as before but Hands On Physical Therapy proved me wrong. Today is my last day but I leave knowing that if I need any future therapy this is the place for me♥️God Bless you all!!

Hi, I have been treated at the Zebulon location for two different injuries at two different times. After extensive shoulder surgery, I began my first treatment plan. I have been greatly rewarded by the execution of the shoulder treatment plan outlined by Kathy, and executed by Deanna and Krishna. I have gained substantial mobility and range of motion with great attention, caring and professionalism by all involved. I am for the interaction with me by these professionals. They constantly reevaluated my therapeutic needs and rendered care that resulted in a remarkable gain in flexibility and range of motion. Because of my progress with my shoulder, I have again chosen the Zebulon HOPT for my knee treatment. I Greg Richert have had a left knee replacement. The staff at the Zebulon location lead by Jennifer working their magic had me my goal faster than when I had my right knee done. A very caring team looking after my needs along with the need of others. I highly recommend the Zebulon location for your physical therapy needs for better quality of life. Jennifer kept me informed about what she was doing and why. She always ask if I had any questions and when I did she offered sound advice based on her experience. Thank you Jennifer for caring. Greg

Had my first appointment here this morning and was not impressed. The doctor (I'm assuming, she never actually told me her title/full name) took me back to a room and did an exam, but did not ask any questions about my injury, lifestyle, goals, etc. She asked about current pain level, took a few measurements, and then said we could "start treatment" today - I had to ask several follow up questions to even get details on what she thought the problem was and how this treatment could help. I then did a few stretches by myself - with no hands on assistance or guidance - and they told me I could leave. They scheduled me for twice a week for the next six weeks - again, I only know this because of the printed schedule they handed me on my way out the door - but never discussed any details on course of treatment, what to do at home, things to avoid, etc. The facility as a whole was nothing special, and even seemed a bit dirty - the linens (e.g. pillowcases) were stained, and I saw a few bugs...It can be very stressful dealing with a painful injury and my hope was for a caring doctor who could guide me through treatment and empower me in my own healing process, but instead I got a quick, surface-level consultation, a couple stretches that I could (and do) perform at home, and no guidance on a treatment plan. Overall, this was not the kind of care I was looking for and I will not be going back.

The gals that helped me after my knee replacement were wonderful. They helped me get range of motion back, were very personable to work with and had a great sense of humor while still being very professional. I do not hesitate to recommend them and plan to return when I have my other knee replacement.

Jennifer has been keenly aware of my needs & has helped me so much, already, through careful planning & evaluation, encouraging me,& by giving me hope for a better,less painful life. I appreciate all she had done & is doing for me as my PT continues. She is very professional, yet caring, as she has helped me. Thank you SO much Jennifer! Diann also helped me so much & I have really appreciated her thoughtfulness & encouragement as well! She is also very professional, compassionate & a good listener. Thank you Diann!!! Serenity has also worked hard to be sure I am taken care of! She is a hard worker & is very attentive to my needs. What a cheerful & positive young woman! Thank you Serenity!!

I highly recommend Hand on Therapy in Zebulon! Working with Trinity and Jennifer has been wonderful. They have taken great care of my daughter and built her a custom therapy plan to meet her needs. They provide a welcoming environment and are always great to work with!! Jennifer is a wonderful therapist who will take good care of you!!
