I worked in dietary. I worked extremely hard and completely all my task on time. My car started messing up and was under warranty. Carmart came and picked it up from there and I was upset considering that was the only car between me and my husband. I dropped him off and then went to work. I was in tears but still doing my job and completed it ON TIME. I was the only one playing food on trays that morning and didn't make any mistakes. The next day my fave was swollen from crying and I was being bullied by the lunch cook. I went to HR and they told me to leave and not come back. Said that I was on drugs yet wouldn't give me a drug test. I have two small children and was never late. I called in one time due to a virus. I ALWAYS did all my task on time. I asked to to review cameras and again they wouldn't. It's this close to Christmas and they let me go because I filed a bulling complaint. The boss even told me that me and one other person was the only ones who did the back rooms right. This was the day before and the cameras have sound. This is the worst I have ever been treated at any job. They had no facts to back this up.

I recognize that some of the reviews may appear somewhat negative. As a current employee of this facility, I would like to share my perspective. Having worked in various facilities, I can confidently say that none have matched the excellence, cleanliness, and compassion found here. While there are occasional challenges, the team is committed to addressing them, demonstrating humility, and prioritizing the needs of the residents. The well-being of our residents is paramount, and this extends to their families, who play a crucial role in the residents' lives. The facility understands the importance of involving families in care, which is reflected in our approach. The quality of food provided is exceptional. Both day and night shift nurses consistently strive to give their best, often going above and beyond for the residents, treating them as if they were their own family. Similarly, the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) also demonstrate remarkable dedication, caring for residents with the same affection one would show to their own parents. This creates a family-like atmosphere among staff and residents alike. Though disagreements may arise, the team always finds a way to resolve them for the benefit of everyone involved. The staffing is accommodating to those with external commitments, fostering an environment where we genuinely want to work. I look forward to coming to work each day, knowing that it is a supportive and non-toxic environment. I appreciate the cleanliness of the facility, including the assurance that residents are well cared for, which eliminates concerns about hygiene or neglect. The facility is diligent in providing necessary supplies, such as wipes, diapers, creams, and lotions, unlike some other facilities that may fall short in this regard. Residents are served hot meals, and if a dish arrives cold, we ensure it is promptly reheated. Additionally, if a resident is dissatisfied with their meal, multiple alternative options are readily available. It is notable that leadership is present during evening hours, a time when many facilities may lack oversight. As a CNA, I can rely on our leadership to be both present and accountable, and it is uncommon to see staff without a smile, even on challenging days. There are numerous positive aspects of this facility that I could elaborate on, but I find it difficult to encapsulate everything in a single review.

My mom was moved to HNRC in January of this year at the age of 101. She was there for about 10 months until she passed. The staff on Moody Hall took great care of her, and I never felt that she was not being properly cared for. Her room and the facility was always clean and the staff treated her like she was family. All the staff I dealt with were professional and responded to any question or request I had. Thanks HNRC for your love and care of my mom.

If you care about and love your family members I would recommend not bringing your loved one's to this unprofessional nursing home most of the staff is fake and rude they treat family members there as a hindrance they push covid protocol when there's no laws for them to legally push this! As a family we saw way to many issues here we have no idea how they have a good rating we had a family member in the rehab part of the nursing home I can not in good conscious recommend this facility I have filed a formal complaint with the insurance and have reported all the issues and neglect!

I can not recommend this facility to anyone that has a family member needing nursing care or rehab. I have seen many unprofessional places and this one is top on my list. The staff members are rude and fake and do not care about the patients. Do your research on other facilities in the area and stay away from this one. The rehab part may be just a year old but what I have seen patients will not get the rehab needed to get better. (In my opinion this facility does not need to care for any loved one's ever.)

My mom had been in 3 other facilities when Hanceville Nursing Home was recommended to me by my Pastor. After being there for a short period, she said she was with her second family and very happy and well cared for until she went to be with Christ. Everyone from administration to housekeeping is amazing. God bless you. Mark Pritchett and family

Fantastic place! You may not be able to reach them on the phone, but that’s because, they’re hands-on taking care of their residents. We just witnessed an amazing 21 day turn around for our Uncle David. They absolutely revived him. We are amazed! S/O to the outstanding therapy department that motivated him & to the wonderful CNAs and Nurses that groomed and nurtured him. Special Thank you to; Debbie Foster, Christy Boyd, Sabrina Kennedy ,& Stacy RN. We’re ever so grateful for you guys!
