My 87 year old Dad was put in Brooks rehab at Halifax hospital after he broke his femur bone. The care was absolutely AMAZING!!! I can’t say enough about the staff!! I wish he could do his all of his rehab there (insurance only 2 weeks). They took such amazing care of him!! And he improved like crazy!!!! They made you feel like family!!!! (I will honestly miss all the staff!!)

My Care Team of Stephanie, Brittany, Kim, and Megan were exceptional. And Jill, who greeted me every morning at the front desk was always an upbeat and pleasant person. The care I received was exceptional and made a difference in my condition. I wish to thank them all and would definitely recommend Brooks Rehab/PT to my many friends.

By far the friendliest, knowledgeable and caring PT you can experience. I had the opportunity to be seen and treated by every therapist and they’re all great! True professionals from the office to every therapist you will feel a little better each visit through your healing process. Thank you very much to everyone at Brooks Rehabilitation, truly!!!!! Highly, Honestly and Thoroughly Recommended… Rob Hardbarger

The people at Brooks rehab are all so friendly, helpful and pleasant to work with. The two secretaries who sign you in are all most helpful with any questions. They know all the people signing in by name. Michelle Lewis helped me with my facial adjusting. She was patient, offered excellent suggestions and made me feel welcome at each meeting.

I am extremely pleased with my physical therapy experience. The sessions have been effective, and I’ve noticed significant improvements in my strength and mobility. My therapists are professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs, providing personalized care that has greatly helped my recovery and getting me back to my active lifestyle. Overall, it's been a very positive and rewarding experience.

Received Treatment for a concussion. Stellar experience. Front desk helped me with insurance questions and worked with me to find resolutions for issues. Therapists were kind and gave insight and advice for adjusting my routines while dealing, and moving forward with the concussion.

5 ⭐️ for the therapy team! NO stars for the management and nursing staff. They’re rude, disrespectful, and not helpful! Rebekah DON is rude and speaks untruths. She doesn’t return phone calls and never follows up. She talked down to my mother and over talked her when mom tried to ask a question. Marlyn was charge and was very rude and disrespectful to my family. She lied about changing a PIN number and sided with Rebekah before finding out any info about my dad. Dr. Garcia lacks empathy and it’s her way or no way. She completely disregarded my mothers wishes for my fathers care. She spoke like she was God and her opinion on his care was law. The nurses were unsure on treatment such as diet and how to take pills. In fact, they even left a dissolved pill on his counter that no one knew anything about. The nurses let my dad go a week without eating and drinking…he was severely dehydrated and looked very bad. We asked to be discharged back to HMC and they denied that. My mother says she feels like they’re holding him hostage. It’s all about money. They’re keeping him so they can get paid. We urged the importance of him getting fluids and getting better because if he’s not eating or drinking how are you pushing therapy?! They said the only was they would release him is if we leave AMA. WHO recommends that? Everyday we had to change his shirt because he had dried food on his clothes. His white board said to assist him to eat and it never happened unless the family was there to do so. This is the WORST MOST UNETHICAL UNPROFESSIONAL REHAB FACILITY EVER! Please don’t take your love ones to Brooks! My mother said it feels like we’re at a concentration camp!
