We are traveling ( driving and pulling a travel trailer) I was not feeling well and went to this clinic I asked if they took walk ins girls up front said yes. They gave me paperwork I filled it out and man I was in a room quickly !! The best people ever !!! Took very good care of me unfortunately I had to be flown to Junaeu to seek medical attention there! Dr Adam was terrific!!! All the Nurses, MA’s , X-ray tech, office girls were all so very very kind ! Very caring! Thank You Soo Much ( we’re traveling from New Mexico) I wish you all could go to New Mexico and give our Medical professionals some lessons 💖 oh by the way having surgery to remove my gallbladder 🙃 THANK YOU ALL 😍

We were traveling from Anchorage to Skagway, 3 adults and all got Covid. No Hospital in Skagway only a clinic with PA who couldn’t write prescriptions! No pharmacy to get Paxlovid! Sent us north to the Yukon city of Whitehorse with a hospital. Problem was they don't take US insurance, only cash- lots of it. Long story short the ladies at Haines Health Clinic were superb. Stayed late to accommodate our ferry ride from Skagway. Saw sis first as she had a positive test from Skagway. They looked at me and said, “Have you been tested? So they tested Jeff and I, both positive. Gave us the Meds right at clinic. Very friendly, thorough and professional. PLUS THEY DROVE US TO OUR LAST MINUTE HOTEL ROOM. FANTASTIC CLINIC, staff and help.

S.E.A.H.C.; Warning! After over 25 years going there I have had from great to terrible service from staff. I lost some friends who died because of errors and poor to terrible doctors! Yes they DO have some excellent staff but sadly not all of them are. People have tried to sue them but were not able to because no lawyer would take their case because of it's legal status as a Tribal Corp. Their lab made mistakes, I had a second opinion from Lab done in Juneau (not S.E.A.R.H.C) who found the errors. Please please do not trust them always get a second opinion from a different health provider. All that said they have saved the lives of many in town over the years. But it's a roll of the dice if you will get what you need. Their real root problem IMO is the upper staff; higher ups and the more problems and they are excellent in hiding those mistakes. BEWARE!!

I was on a cruise ship and got a UTI. We found this clinic in Haines and stopped in just after they opened (8:30am). In less than 2 hours I was registered, seen by a nurse practitioner, and given my prescription in hand (they have an on-site pharmacy). Everyone was wonderful and friendly. Because they were so efficient, we were able to enjoy the town before boarding the ship. The cruise ship wanted to charge $250 just for a consult. Haines Clinic was much more cost effective. Thank goodness! Haines Health Center saved the day.

Worst billing department I've ever seen! Daughter had an office visit, gave them all insurance information, and heard nothing more, no statements, no invoice, nothing. 8 months later received a bill in my young daughter's name from a creditor. Called SEARHC- they knew nothing. Called the billing number they gave me- they knew nothing. Finally received help with the 3rd number after being told SEARHC tried billing my insurance $900 for 4 stitches. The allowance was less than half that amount and SEARHC still billed $150 to my kid. SO frustrated and what a rip off. That's what happens when you're not on Medicaid in Haines.

For a small rural Alaska town we have a very nice clinic. We are blessed with doctors that are here to help people more than to make a fortune. That is the way it should be because you see them around town and they are just like the rest of us. And our nurses are absolutely top kotch.

I was immediately taken off of medications I'd been on for 5 years, which I was fine with, but then when I needed medical assistance regarding this they did not want to help.
