Gulfcoast Physical Therapy SARASOTA

Today was my first visit at Gulfcoast Physical Therapy and I must say I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. The receptionist who's name I did not catch was professional and courteous, a lovely young lady. Kevin is the PT who I saw today and again I was impressed, he took his time to ask questions and allowed me to respond and ask my own questions. I didn't feel rushed, in fact it was quite comfortable. Kevin explained the treatment as we ran through it and made several suggestions for me to work on at home. I definitely look forward to my next visit.

Worked with Don & great experience. I highly recommend! Not only a knee replacement but he also shared with me exercises I can work on for my shoulder. Great around team.

I had a reverse shoulder replacement in April and was set up with Gulfcoast physical therapy. Tom was the physical therapist that took care of me,Tom did a fantastic job stretching and strengthening I feel so good it feels like I never had an operation Thank you Tom and your fantastic group Domenic

I was welcomed by the PT Tommy. I had I began my physical therapy twice a week. Was stretched out and given the magical electric pulse machine. After a little more than a month. Was Amazed I felt 200% better. Being in midlife I thought that I was just getting old. Forever Thankful for the Friendly Professional Care! Breh (?) the receptionist was magical navigating the billing cycle.

Kevin helped me heal a painful plantar fasciitis in my foot. He was very patient and encouraging. He showed me several stretches,and if one didn't work, he would replace it with another. I would recommend it highly!"

I've done a fair amount of PT in my life and this business is the best. You are treated as an individual not just some cog in the insurance process. i was fortunate to work with the owner, Tommy. Thoroughly professional.

I am very fortunate to have recovered so well from my knee replacement surgery. My recovery is due to the excellent physical therapy that was provided to me by Kevin, who was my primary physical therapist, and other team members, Tom. Cory and Don. From Kevin’s initial evaluation to the implementation of a treatment plan, i was confident I was in good hands. Kevin and all the physical therapy staff are very experienced and knowledgeable, having worked in the field for many years . My hour long therapy (3 times a week for month ) consisted of hot packs to start, manual stretching by Kevin and a variety strengthening exercises using therapy equipment......followed up at the end by ice packs. I was always carefully supervised while exercising to make sure I was in the proper position and doing the motions correctly. I experienced quite a bit of pain with this surgery....and this is normal for knee replacement surgery. What I particularly appreciated was the encouragement and positive outlook by all the therapy staff. Even though I was initially physically uncomfortable, particularly in the beginning, Kevin and the staff kept reassuring me that I was doing well and explained what to be expect in terms of my therapy progress. The therapy clinic is attractive and very clean. The atmosphere is one of a friendly nature and congeniality among all the staff members who clearly work as a team. Their good humor made me relax and feel comfortable. I actually enjoyed coming in for physical therapy, even though I knew that I had to work hard and experience some discomfort. This is (2019) second time I have been to Gulf Coast Physical Therapy. I was there in 2017 for rehabilitation for having my other knee replaced. Again it was an excellent experience and I recovered well.

My father came down for 2 weeks to visit and is post shoulder surgery so he had to continue his PT while he was here. He was so impressed by Kevin and Tom and the whole gulf coast team. So friendly and personable, not to mention the great therapy he received from them! Thank you for all your help! I highly recommend this place for all your therapy needs.
