Jackie offers a modality of healing that is hard to come by. She's provided relief for my migraines which had been a long journey for me of different medications and other forms of treatment. I've never left her office without having experiencing deep relaxation. She's very generous with her time and attention. If you want to feel supported and heard, make an appointment.

Jackie is doing a great job treating my shoulder and arm pain. She takes time to perform a total body assessment each visit in order to locate and treat secondary areas of my body (some dormant for years) that are contributing to my primary areas of pain. She continuously monitors these areas for treatment and improvement. The Myofascial technique varies from traditional Physical Therapy in that she applies gradually increasing pressure for a lengthy period of time to the soft tissue areas causing the patient pain until the pain subsides. Jackie is very talented at identifying the problem areas and applying pressure until a release occurs. She is also adept at pursuing the residual problem areas as they migrate in location. As a life long runner I’ve learned a great deal about self-treatment tools and techniques but I have had problems at times applying the appropriate technique to resolve my pain. Jackie patiently listens to me and provides helpful adjustments to my stretching and massage regimen. She also shows me new stretches and massages that allow me to self-treat my problem areas. In addition, she made many constructive recommendations regarding other aspects of my life such as sleeping position, office ergonomics, and general relaxation techniques. Her treatment has helped relieve my pain and is allowing me to gradually return to the active lifestyle that I enjoy. I would highly recommend Jackie to anyone experiencing chronic pain.

I have been going to Jackie for years. She has truly kept me out of a wheelchair. Before starting with her i couldn't even stand up straight and was living in constant overwhelming pain. And now I have so much more freedom. joy and enjoyment in life to do so many more things that most people take for granted. She also gives you the tools to help yourself in your healing journey. I truly feel I am blessed to have found her

Jackie is a practitioner who truly cares for her patients. I made an appointment with her to address my issues with adhesions from giving birth via c-section, as well as some hip pain. She was booked, but agreed to see me in a virtual setting on a Saturday. Our initial appointment was for her to get to know me as her patient; She instantly put me at ease and made me realize that she was there to support me and care for me during our time together. My actual therapy appointment went very much the same. It was an amazing experience. It wasn't what I had envisioned when initially making my appointment, but so much more... I felt as though she truly treated me as a whole, and gave me the tools (physical and mental) to treat myself for the adhesions that have been bothering me for years. I am so thankful for our time together. I am doing my homework, and she checks in on me regularly. I am so very thankful for her. If you are considering myofascial release, I highly recommend Jackie Castro-Cooper at Gulf Coast Myofascial Release.

Jackie is the Best Myofascial Release(John Barnes method) therapist is so effective because she healed herself using the method and is dedicated helping her patients heal themselves by using the method. I had come off of several years of being treated by the best medical doctors I could find for an incurable cancer, multiple myeloma. I had achieved a complete response to the chemo and stem cell transplant, but I experienced side effects because of the drugs and their effect on my body and my immune system. Jackie helped me set up my integrative protocol for healing, which has had a positive transforming effect! I have been getting her treatments 3 times a month for a year and will continue forever! She has amazing skills and is open to Infinite, abundant possibilities for healing. Energy medicine is the future and the future is NOW with Jackie. I was in a wheelchair in severe pain and now am walking 3-4 miles a day. Renee Hague

I have been to see Jackie twice now, and both times I have left feeling better, not only physically, but also believing that I truly underwent a multilayered, deeply healing experience. The phrase "Healing Touch" comes to mind, and I am sure I am not even aware of all of the subtleties of her skill in the art of healing that occurred during my sessions. I know that my body is healing on its own, but I believe the trajectory of my healing has been improved with each of my sessions with her. And her husband, Scott, who works the front end of the business is so pleasant and welcoming. I am so thankful for them and this healing oasis that they have brought to the Gulf Coast.

Jackie changed my life. I suffered for years with pain in my legs, back and shoulders. I've taken multitudes of medication trying to relieve the pain. My doctor recommended her to me. She literally said that Jackie heals everyone she sends to her. I made the appointment immediately. I was off all medication within 2 weeks of seeing her. The only time I have pain is if I've done something to myself. I see her on a regular basis since stress and tension will never be completely out of my life. She keeps me balanced and pain free. She will change your life too.

Ms. Jackie is amazing! When I went to traditional physical therapy (which I have tried several times before and after going to Gulf Coast Myofascial Release) I would always have a flare up for 2-5 days. When I see Ms. Jackie I always feel immediately better. I am able to actually do things after leaving and often go walking on the beach for HOURS.
