We love Growing Healthy Seasons! The environment is so calming and relaxing. Ms. Robin has done a great job in creating an inviting space where children feel welcomed and interested in playing and exploring. My children have joined the Garden Parties and Camps. They love participating in both. Ms. Alicia has a great gardening program. As for the camps, my oldest can be very sensitive and shy, but adjusted so well with the support of all the amazing trained therapists and staff. They are very inclusive and thoughtful. My son felt very comfortable to be himself and was always excited to share with me his awesome art projects and/or what he did that day! We appreciate the affirmation and sensory inclusion to these wonderful programs!

Growing Healthy Seasons is an amazing place. They have a great team and the therapists are highly knowledgeable and qualified to assist with a helping hand. They also have summer camp, which my son has enjoyed being apart of. 😁

Communication was beyond poor. Billing department was horrendous. They would say one thing and then say the opposite in the next encounter as well. After almost one year, someone contacted me with a bill that never correctly sent into insurance. No follow up for over a year. Not a single person contacted me to work anything out so my kids could return. Such a mess over there. Would not recommend. Edit to add: the fact that they question if we attended there in their response shows that they continue to really try not to take responsibility. Yes we did and will never recommend.

Both my kids have had wonderful experiences at Growing Healthy Children. My daughter had fun in Speech Therapy and you'd never guess now that she was late to start talking! My son loved his OT burst, especially the zip-line in the gym. The therapists made it fun to do challenging work and we saw progress in his ability to self-regulate. My kids say their favorite part of GHC is the summer camps. Hands-down, Food Art Camp is their favorite! I love that the therapists can see how my kids have improved year by year. GHC really is a place where every child is treasured. As a mom, that is my favorite part.

After 1.5 years at another local occupational therapist and feeling like we weren't accomplishing anything someone recommended Growing Healthy Children to me so we made the switch. We were hitting rock bottom with my son - I was constantly frustrated and unsure how to parent him, he was growing more anxious and started having anxiety attacks and getting more and more out of control. In the month that we have been seeing our new OT at Growing Healthy Children (we started there on August 3rd) we have seen tremendous growth with my 5.5 year old son. I finally understand him and his needs, how to help him to succeed both emotionally and in overall life, it has helped our relationship and I feel like I finally have my happy boy back.

Worst communication ever!! After several calls and repeating myself 4 times to 4 different people they told me my child was accepted and booked for weekly appointments starting 1 month out. Before he has his first appointment they told my he was only actually booked for 3 appointments as the schedule was changing due to the end of the school year, but that they would figure something out. I didn’t hear back. At my first appointment the therapist told me she was on vacation for the next 2 weeks, so I only had that 1 appointment booked. I asked the front desk about it on the way out and they said they’d look into it. I called the manager to complain and got a call back from someone at the from desk the next day (not the manager) asking if I would like to have just 45 minute appointments, rather than an hour as they couldn’t find a time to suit my schedule. I said I’d rather not, but asked if I would still be charged for the whole hour. He didn’t know, but said he’d get back to me. He never did. 3 weeks later I got a call asking to confirm my appointment for that afternoon, to which I informed him that I had never been told of any appointment, hadn’t confirmed anything, and was still waiting to hear if the appointments would be 45 minutes or an hour and what I would be charged. He said my insurance had confirmed a pro-rated rate for the 45 minutes. I told him I had already found another therapist that confirmed a set schedule and I would not be using them anymore. It’s now been 3 weeks and they have not yet submitted the discharge paperwork, meaning we can’t start the appointments with the new therapist yet. They are absolutely useless!! What a waste of time!!

I was there as a volunteer, and loved it! As a volunteer you work in the building by cleaning and taking care of the animals and plants. You also get to observe certain therapy sessions. There is structure, as well as hard work, dedication, and encouragement. It is a great learning experience altogether! I love Growing Healthy Children.
