I was a resident at Graystone Nursing and Rehab facility after breaking my leg and having surgery. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the care that I was given. Stephanie was my primary CNA and I really grew to love her. She was always there for me to help me with anything that I needed even to the point that she came in 30 minutes early so I could get a shower before going to the doctor. This is the type of dedication that she showered on to the residents that she was responsible for. This is why I loved her so much. The CNAs, and the nurses were all great. I’ve never been to a place that the food service department gave you 2 meal choices and if you didn’t like either choice that they would make you something different. I had great PT and OT services. They worked hard to be sure I would be able to care for myself when I got home. Not being able to put weight on one foot was very challenging for me. They had me prepared for when I did get home. Graystone has employed people that work well with the residents. There wasn’t a department there that didn’t go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable.

I am currently a resident of GreyStone Nursing Home. I didn’t want to come here. I thought I was better off at home. I was under another home hospice. Well. After a month here so much has changed. My medications were reviewed with some critical changes. My care plan reviewed and revised Now that I am not wearing a chemical straight jacket I am clear headed and I do need to be here. I am happy and if I have to be in a nursing home, I’m blessed it’s here.

Hr and administrative was good big time I have respect for them but the dietary supervisor was rude disrespectful to Me as well as some employees I got injured a week ago badly and I needed to get it fixed and the supervisor refused to take proper procedures and tell someone about it my injury gotten worser as well as a couple other injuries on my hand I was doing other people jobs when it wasn't my job at all I was all about team effort and team work and others wasn't at all I got cussed at all by the supervisor I accidentally forgot to do something and I got yelled at yesterday badly while everyone else not doing there job .there is so much drama and gossip in the dietary department and getting mistreated it's unreal big time I was gonna start my career here but instead yesterday I had to make a tough decision and leave .people are scared to speak up about getting mistreated and injured and the bosses wonder why there employees are quitting its sad how people have to quit something they want to do so bad and luv to do because of this

On December 30th my Dad was transferred from St Vincent hospital for some Inpatient rehabilitation so he could get his strength back to go home, his first night the nurse techs were so hateful and mean to him, he was having trouble breathing and they were making him lay flat and they would come in screaming at him to get back on his back when he tried to move to his side to be able to breathe better he also had some BM accidents and the two techs were extremely rough with him and rude and mean, abuse! After one night we pulled him out of the facility and would never go back. Every person should be treated with dignity and respect especially my Daddy!!!

I worked with this manager cook in the kitchen, that her name is Barbra, she had a very bad attitude with me, I was harassed by her and her employees, and I just quit and I couldn't take it any more, she has a camera in her phone, every time I tried to do my job, my phone was ringing, and she screamed at me so bad, like I'm her mad, that manager Barbra should be out of this place

My mother was in rehab for 2 months. EVERYONE was kind, compassionate and very helpful. The nurses, therapists and CNAs were outstanding! We were very pleased with the facility. Nothing but positive things to say about Greystone Rehab
