Greentree Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation

Excellent facility with one of the most caring dedicated and professional staff I've seen. The nurse in the wing that my mother is in is awesome, professional, smart and still has compassion after years in the health care industry. Greentree Manor will come highly recommended from my family.

Carol D'agostino is a brand new social worker who is in her 20's and took my mom away from me. My mom lived with me for years before she moved to a nursing home. We moved my mom from RI to CT when we moved to CT so she would stay close to us. This social worker was 4 month new to the facility and I recieved a certified letter in the mail telling me my mom was being conserved. I was never asked or notified. The administrator Becky and her were a part of this. It is extremely wrong and horrible. There are also several times I walked in there and my mom was very sick and wasn't get sent to the hospital. If I did not send her she would probably not be here today.

as a former employee of Greentree manor if I could give this place ZERO STARS, just know I WOULD.! The aides (other than 3rd shift) don’t have any care or compassion for any of the residents. They’re always short staffed and have aides working ALONE on the units for third shift. The food is absolutely disgusting & inedible. This place really needs to be SHUT DOWN.!

The manor is spotless, people are very professional and everyone was very nice. I have visited other rehab facilities and this is by far the cleanest and most professional one I have been to.

My mother has been very happy at Green Tree manor. The staff really seems to care about the people staying there. My mother gets plenty of social interaction with the staff and clients. Her attitude has improved greatly because of it. We are also very grateful that they allow service dogs which really makes my mom’s day!

Unfortunately, I am rating this as a 1*. This place was so great a year ago, but has gone down hill and fast. My mother is not being cared for. They leave her in soiled clothes for hours, they told me one day that even though she had a puddle of urine under her wheelchair that they could not put her back in bed to clean her up. They said she had to wait for the next shift at 3:00. This was 12:30-1:00. They never call me when she is sick. They don't care about her at all.

Just went to my church to sing Christmas Carols. Very nice place, pretty typical

Great visit - staff was very friendly! Enjoyed our visit with our sister today!
