I have been with Granite Creek for almost 18 months and the changes that I have seen in all departments have all been for the better. I have worked in other nursing homes in different states and none of them compare to Granite Creek. We have a wonderful therapy department, fun kitchen staff, an amazing nursing staff, activities department that makes our residents feel special, and a wonderful management team that takes pride in our facility and our entire staff. I would most definitely recommend Granite Creek Health and Rehabilitation to anyone who would need our services.

My step father, James, had a stroke last summer and we were recommended this place. I wasn’t stoked to have to put him in a center, but insurance wouldn’t cover a personal caretaker and I work two jobs to support my kids and didn’t have the time, so this was the best option. As soon as he was there I came to check on him, worried I would find Ben Stiller from Happy Gilmore torturing him. I found the opposite. Their recruiting manager, Anna, already knew who I was and greeted me as soon as I arrived. She was so kind and showed me all of the facilities. When I got to talk to James, he seemed happy. As the months went by, I would check on him as often as I could to make sure he was being taken care of, to which his answer was always yes. Sadly, James passed away due to issues related to his stroke this last April, and while I miss him dearly, I know they took good care of him until the very end. Miss you pops!

Want your loved one ignored, bullied and left to die? Place them here. If I could go with a ZERO I would! In mid March my dad was placed here after he had Covid and pneumonia and was bed/wheelchair bound. He was quarantined so we couldn't go in for several days. When we did we found him in a damp gown, dripping bandage from his fall the day before, and he didn't even have a blanket, and the bed had dirty sheets. They didn't have his CPAP out of the closet the whole quarantine. His, and roommate's call buttons were clipped to the curtain at the wall. The roommate had to use a personal cell phone to call the front desk for help! His urinal was placed out of reach on the nightstand and they just diapered him. They used a dirty trash bag, from the trash can, for lining his commode. They left dirty gloves on his floor. I had to request a blanket and sheets as there was feces on them. I was told they hadn't had clean bedding delivered for over a week! His oxygen/nebulizer mask was dangling on the floor. The food was disgusting, cold and hard as a rock. He couldn't even eat due to hardness. The "bacon biscuit" looked like a rock with leather between. They gave him a double laxative before transport...that was a mess! The community room had people sitting between stacked chairs, tables, etc. The upper staff and discharge avoided us at all costs! We found an advocate that got him transported out! Went in able to use a wheelchair, we feel the decline that started here was part of his death a few weeks later. No oxygen/CPAP, constantly cold, we feel started his decline. Update: My dad went from using a walker and wheelchair to dying within weeks of being at this horrid place!

I must say that the transformation this facility has made over the past year has been amazing. It feels better in the building, a sense of compassion from everyone that I have interacted with, and it looks as thought they have much better staffing (more and better) than in previous months. I would highly recommend.

This is the second time my neighbor has been in Granite Creek Rehab.. 1 year apart from each stay. Tiffany Haeffner Marketing & Ops Director went beyond her duties in guiding me in getting my neighbor back into the facility for rehab. When he’s ready for a hip replacement in a few months Granite Creek will be the choice again. The general staff.. from the receptionist to the nurses and CNA’S and the kitchen staff.. and the caring rehab staff 👍THANK YOU!

My partner was here in 2016. This place was and is a hell hole!! Totally agree with previous comments . The care is awe full ! Not even human! After I got her out of there and into Hospice, the nurses at hospice alerted me to excrement up inside her from not being cleaned properly from this hell hole. This place needs shut down period!!! Everything everyone has said is true- no call button, water and tray table placed where she could not reach it. She asked for coffee creamer and got yelled at by the kitchen staff. I hope the people who treat patients this way and I’m talking administration down can live with themselves. Hopefully soon I hope God gets rid of this place. I would also give a 0 if I could!!!

Granite creek is a horrible place that should be shut down. All the 5 star reviews are from staff to get their ratings up ( notice how they are all in the same time period). Do not put a loved one in here. Medication errors, neglect, horrble food, etc.

****Only send people you don't like here**** Yes it is that bad. I was literally there for 5 days and my family tried quicker but it took getting another UTI to get me to the ER and never to return. I was to take an antibiotic that my doctor from Chandler prescribed to me but they were giving me amoxicillin. Well thank God the nurses are from the bottom of the barrel. Nurse told me that they were the same antibiotic. Needless to say they were not the same and I was able to get out but not before the director told my nurse that she can give me more pain meds. All the reviews are spot on! A place like this should not be in business. I feel bad for the people that are still there. Also what the kitchen makes for breakfast, lunch or dinner is what you get. NO SPECIAL ORDERS. The photo is the remote for the 1920's bed you get to sleep in.
