Grand River Health Clinic West

The facility is very clean. The staff comes with warm welcome smiles!! A great team. I am so thankful to Grand River Health and Tami Griffith for helping me with my healthcare needs. You guys rock!

Dr.Seth Selby at Grand River Health West Clinic (Parachute location) is very attentive. My child recently had an appointment with him and his service was excellent! Everything happened in a timely matter, straight to the point, in & out with a care plan, and I felt confident that my child was taken care of.

We've had several horror story experiences here but the worst by far was bringing my teenager for mental health services. During our first appointment Leanne asked very guided questions to escalate the problem, after escalating it she kept reminding me she could put my son on a hold if she wanted to(it felt like a weird power trip, someone before us may of questioned her ability and she needed to prove herself) We waited there for hours until aspen hope could get there, assess the situation she created and reassure me my son did not need a hold. It was terrible enough that none of us go to counseling anymore. Very emotional and manipulative lady.

This place is a joke. If you have any other option use it before coming here. They are an extension of the hospital in rifle, and if I could give no stars I would. Multiple people in my household have been prescribed medications that conflict with other medications, mental health services are below par, and communication between the parachute location and the rifle location seems to be a struggle. Which doesn't leave a lot of room for confidence in their abilities to do anything else. If I do not have faith that a simple thing like communication exists, why would I be comfortable letting anyone perform a medical procedure on anyone I care about?

The clinic In Battlement Mesa is far better than Rifle! I’ve taken my kids to see Dr. Kanik and Dr. Selby and they were both phenomenal with caring for my children. They really made me feel like they actually cared about them!

I will NEVER return to this clinic! Today my 2-month-old son had an appointment to get his first set of shots. Our appointment was a 9:30 & we were running a couple minutes behind. We arrived at the clinic at exactly 9:32. The older receptionist at the desk who sits facing the doors when you walk in, checked me in & handed me the questionnaire to fill out while we waited. As I was filling the paperwork out, I overheard another patient checking out & making her next appointment with the younger receptionist who sits facing the windows. The younger receptionist proceeds to apologize to the patient for her long wait before her appointment today. I thought to myself "okay they are running a little behind". 20 MINUTES LATER the older receptionist calls me back up to the desk and says "I'm sorry we are going to have to re-schedule your appointment because you were 14 minutes late. I said no mam I arrived here at 9:32 she says no you arrived at 9:42 and your appointment was at 9:30. I proceeded to tell her I know when we arrived, and it was at 9:32. My husband who was holding our 2-month-old comes up and asks are you really going to turn away a baby who needs his shots like this on your incorrect timing? She says, "well I guess I can try again to see if they will see you". My biggest question is if we were "so late" why were we not told at check in " you are 14 minutes late we need to reschedule" .. why would you make us wait 20 minutes and then tell us we need to reschedule!!??MAKES NO SENSE !! It seems to me like they were running behind today (due to the younger receptionist apologizing earlier for the long wait to the patient checking out) and scheduling was a MESS. This clinic definitely seems like it is for older folks especially due to the fact that they lack infant/pediatric information. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST BAD EXPERIENCE WE HAVE ENDURED AT THIS CLINIC. THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO COURTESY WHATSOEVER. I called a much better pediatrics Dr's Office as soon as I got home & made an appointment for my baby. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr Cala is an exceptional, caring, knowledgeable provider. I love Dr Coleman but am so glad that Dr Cala is here because I don’t feel like my care has been negatively affected by his retirement at all!

The people down stairs have no communicative or customer service skills. They seem angry when they have to do there job, heaven forbid you go in the office the last 30 minutes. The Therapist hates her job and it's so obvious, good advice escapes her, and repeating what you said gets her paid. If you have a mental health problem, or need a lab done, don't even bother with this place.
