If you can I would AVOID this place at all costs. I have been trying to reach Dr. Pitcher for months about urgently needing splints for my hands and I barely got a call back today. This office has no regard for disabled people who need help and the office next door is even worse at belittling and being condescending towards somebody who just wants to make an appointment. Please go anywhere else if you want to receive care for yourself or a loved one. I have never felt so disrespected and ignored by a medical practice. If anybody needs a new place to go to I found el cerrito hand therapy to be responsive and not money hungry like this place unfortunately is :(

They used to have appointmens before 9AM but they got rid of those, so I can no longer attend without having to take time off work. They don't accommodate people who work full time (9-5). The therapists are knowledgeable and great at what they do. However, the trainers are overworked/overbooked. Sometimes, the sessions feel like 1 on 1 sessions, and you get lots of individual attention from the therapist. Other times, the therapists will have 3 or more patients at a time. The therapist isn't able to dedicate as much time to each individual patient, so the quality of the session varies depending on how booked the therapist is. Additionally, they have no AC inside, only a heater that is always on, so it can get very hot in there.
When I first made my appointment, they had all information required, but did not check that my referral had not come from my PCP. Appointment cancelled, but at least they didn't charge me cancellation fee since it was their fault. Went to my PCP to get a referral for them specifically. Called back, only to be told they only take in-house referrals. A complete waste of time all-around.
By far the worst orthopedic medical facility I’ve ever been to. No one follows up with you after consultation, they don’t pick up phones, and you always feel as though no one cares about you (both your physician and the ladies in front). Go somewhere else if you need to visit an orthopedic doctor.. I promise you it is not worth the consultation fee. Wish I could give 0 stars!
i'm getting excellent PT there for two recent falls. The DPT (Patrick) is caring. Started with thorough analysis and testing; continues to narrow in on my issues. Nice sense of humor, too.
Worse customer service experience ever, especially if you are under worker's compensation! Take lots of time and effort to make an appointment for a treatment.
