* edit to add you should all read all the 1 star reviews If you're looking at leaving your loved ones here, I most definitely wouldn't. There are definitely a few lovely nurses and aids working here who have the best of intentions, but the overall management of this facility ... I'm not actually sure it is managed. I have seen patients here who've not had bandages changed in over 4 days. My own loved one had rashes and sore spots throughout her body. My family has to show up multiple times a day to make sure she's eating because the food here is cold sandwiches, cold rolls, hot dogs, white bread for diabetics! Middle School lunches are better than what's provided here. I'd love to say I'm overexaggerting and I'm sure you'd like to write me off as a usually disgruntled type of individual, but I think I've left 2 bad reviews in my lifetime. I'm writing this so that you don't leave someone you care about here. The food served is usually cold when it's meant to be hot. It's most times non nutritional, and most times against the medical needs of the patient. There's literally been nothing adjusted for my family member who is a diabetic. Other paitents we've spoken with there have also voiced concerns about the food. Being fed food they didnt like and had told staff about. Either the kitchen is so unorganized theyre losing these requests, mixing them up, or iust plain dont care. Would love to know the budget here bc it seems quite low. We have had to show up multiple times a day to make sure she's eating AND to make sure she's been changed as she has incontinence issues. Cannot tell you the number of times we've arrived to soiled clothes and soiled sheets, 5 and 7 hours of not being checked on. If she has been changed we find soiled clothing in the closet! Not even in a bag. Ring the bell and no one comes! If you do make a complaint they'll suddenly step up for a few days, but then it's back downhill after that. This facility is extreamly short staffed, esp on weekends. Some of the staff don't even want to work here. This just isn't the place. The quality of care isn't there. There's also a nurse who's been quite unfriendly throughout all of this. The least you can do is commiserate with the family and say yeah you know I hear you and I'm sorry it's not to standard, my hands are tied. But to push back with attitude just because the family wants the best for their loved one?? Cmon now. Again, my family and I are not tightly wound individuals. My spouse worked in a dementia specialized care home for years and he's appauled. And that's free health care on the NHS! I just can't stress to whomever you are considering this place, to pass on by. If you can't for financial reasons please make sure you can visit to ensure they're getting fed properly, being looked in on when needed/requested. If you work here and you're trying your best, I appreciate it. It's clearly a management issue, potencial funding issue, obvious staffing issue, and for some, an attitude issue.

I lived there 5 years. The staff is incompetent, the aids sleep and are on their phones. I waited 2 hours for help. The food is not fit for a dog. The attitude there is about being lazy and not putting out the effort. The place got the lowest possible rating but the state. I would rather be dead, than go back there.

I've noticed a big improvement in the quality of services and the positivity of the staff led by Mandy and her team. Mandy is a very positive and organized person, and as the leader of the environmental services department has led her team to be top notch in the vast improvement I've seen!

I just left from picking up my father, who voluntarily discharged. I have never been so disappointed in a health facility due to his experience in the 5 days he was there for rehab after a surgery. Diabetics... DO NOT GO THERE! They are not able to provide a proper meal at all, have little to no budget to provide protein unless you consider eggs. It's suggested that they can order in/doordash or family can bring in food they can store in the fridge. A slice of roastbeef on white bread is considered dinner, slice of french toast and plain oatmeal for breakfast or cold cereals. Not bad for some but horrible for a diabetic. They do not monitor blood glucose levels. He was checked at check in and that was it. 2x we had to ask (I got hung up on once when I asked) if they were going to bring him a meal because they forgot. Those needing PT... DO NOT GO THERE! They quiet literally don't have anyone. He was evaluated but nothing since. Offered a potential zoom meeting for PT. 2x they said they would take him for a walk but forgot to come for him. Seriously?!?! Bedding was not changed in 5 days and the sheet had a large stain from previous patient. No doctor on site. Apparently he was on vacation and a nurse practioner was covering. She saw him 1 time and nothing. Our expectation wasn't high but come on.. that's bad. They should have been upfront and rejected or transfered him if they could give him the care he needed.

My grandpa went here for rehab after a bad fall. We were sad for him but the care team was so good that he didn’t wanna come back home. Thank you to the nurses and care givers!!!!
