Gather and Grow Pediatric Occupational Therapy

We were seeking support with our infant’s latching issue and Sarah came as a recommendation from our Lactation Consultant. Our issue was quickly resolved with the guidance and exercises provided by Sarah. We continued our visits to also assist with motor skills. Sarah was so kind and attentive to our little one, he loved seeing her. The at-home visits were extremely convenient, and she made everything so approachable for our family. Thank you!

Sarah went above and beyond for my family. We had a lot of issues with breastfeeding due to reflux and a tongue tie. Sarah worked with us and just after a few visits we noticed a huge improvement. We went from exclusively pumping to exclusively breastfeeding in 2 months. Sarah was always a phone call away between visits. She was very professional, kind, and flexible. It means the world that I’m able to breastfeed my daughter and have that bond with her. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. A lot of good advice was given to support my daughters growth and development and she always took my opinion into account. I felt heard and listened to.

While our time was short with Sarah, we could not have been happier with our experience. Sarah was so great with our daughter, providing us with tips and tricks for straw cup drinking, puree gagging, and optimal body positions. Fortunately, our daughter is doing so well eating, unfortunately, we won’t be needing any follow up sessions.

Sarah worked with us and our daughter in the Fall for many months. Our daughter had a few challenges we were working through including a tongue tie, torticollis, and low muscle tone. We enjoyed our time with Sarah so much. Her home visits were convenient, informative, respectful and fun. She focused on exercises that we could easily incorporate into our daily routine--with 2 older children, this was absolutely critical! Sarah's demeanor is warm and supportive. I always left our sessions feeling like I had the tools I needed to improve my daughter's outcomes between visits with Sarah. Would recommend and would absolutely work with her again in the future! We appreciated working with Sarah. She helped us with our 2 month old’s torticollis and feeding issues. As first time parents, it was stressful to deal with feeding difficulties. Sarah was able to provide exercises and guidance that were crucial to overcoming these problems. Sarah came to our home for sessions, which allowed her to observe our daily environment and provide recommendations that were specific to our situation. We worked with Sarah to help with my daughter’s head turning preference and we saw such a huge difference in just a few months. She was patient and gentle with my daughter and was taking her time to teach me what kind of stretches and positions to keep practicing every day. It’s also so helpful that she would come to our home, especially since transporting a newborn or baby can be quite cumbersome at times, but also because she would work with what we have at home and help us utilize what we have. I would definitely recommend Sarah to any family looking for an OT for their child!!

Sarah provided OT services for my daughter for over a year, starting when she was just over a year old. We only stopped services due to a family move. At just a year old, it was so nice to have a provider come to our home where my daughter was comfortable. This also allowed my husband and I to learn how to support her in her environment. Sarah provided wonderful care and gave suggestions that were very helpful in assisting her in achieving her goals. Sarah always made therapy fun, providing activities that were engaging but helpful for learning and development. Sarah is extremely creative and can turn almost any material into a learning activity. We were referred to her for support with our premature baby's feeding issues and torticollis, and she not only provided practical and effective strategies to address those issues, but also helped us work through other developmental challenges along the way.
