If you have a loved one in need of care, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. The place looks nice on the outside but holy hell, this place leaves their patients completely unattended and neglected. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. There are patients screaming for nurses, patients who need help getting to the restroom being ignored, and it's completely unacceptable. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. We have a family member who needed assistance from recovering from a major surgery, and thought this establishment would be a good place to transition them back home from being in the hospital. WE WERE SO WRONG. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. Recovering from surgery or any medical condition is a profoundly vulnerable time for many patients. It is not uncommon for them to feel down but to deprive them of assistance at an establishment that is meant to look after patients is both unacceptable and frustrating. Such experiences can significantly impact their emotional well-being during an already challenging period. This place is a scam, DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. Heed the warnings of all of the 1 star ratings on Yelp - we failed to and we regret it. OH, and DID I MENTION.... DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.

MAJOR PROBLEMS HERE! Okay what is going on!!! My mother had to wait hours for someone to change her portapotty. LITERALLY OVER 3 HOURS! Has to wait forever for anyone to help! They have a small monitor at the end of the hall that displays when a patient needs help. That's if anyone actually notices.... THEY NEED A LIGHT OUTSIDE THE ROOMS TO NOTIFY WHEN SOMEONE CALLS. Or better yet a beeper on each CNA/Nurse. My mom's roommate had to wait an hour for someone to help her use the bathroom.... Once you can actually verbally notify someone you have to wait even longer for them to come back! If they come back at all!! This place needs MORE staff and a light call system. Also the FOOD!!! Prisoners eat better!!! I seriously feel bad for the residents here... This isn't care at all ...

Do not recommend! My father who has end stage renal disease and receives dialysis 3 times a week was transferred to this location for rehabilitation after undergoing cardiac arrest, he was transported to the dialysis center on a Friday at 9am, his return time to this facility was 2 pm, when I got to the location about 4:30 pm to check on him (because on dialysis days he’s usually very weak and dizzy after his treatments) he was eating by himself with NO HELP eating his COLD LUNCH that was sitting there since 12 pm. They do not care about their patients unless a family member is involved. We transferred him to a different facility.

By far, the best nursing facility! The nurses are outstanding and take extreme care of their patients. They always try to keep the patient's family well informed and even have meetings with families to go over how the patient is doing. After having my dad come from an awful nursing home previously, I expressed my concerns prior to admitting him here. Ever since that meeting, my expectations have not only been met, but exceeded! I truly appreciate the facility's director, Kamille, and how much she has treated my dad and I with kindness and respect. Every person that I have met here has done nothing, but treat my dad with the most love and care. Although my dad's health isn't fully back to where it used to be, his spirit came back and I am forever grateful to Garden View and the nurses for bringing him back to me. All my love to Kamille and every nurse that has helped my dad. You saved his life and I will always remember that and appreciate that! There isn't one place I wouldn't recommend more than here! The facility is clean, the community is wonderful, and your loved one will always be well taken care of!

Just great! The staff are always very informative and helpful. Even though it's crazy busy, they manage to have the right care for their patients! My uncle was there for rehabilitation and his stay was very smooth. All departments did their part and made his stay so much easier. Thank you garden view.

This is a very good place for those who need 24/7 nursing care and compassionate staff. My dad had been there for last 5 years until his end of life. My dad was satisfied with services including medical, spiritual, social, & psychological services in Garden View. Prior to the COVIC pandemic, my dad had been receiving holy communion twice/week and holy masses at times when a priest was able to come celebrating the Eucharist. During the pandemic, activity staff always helped my dad face time my mom & family daily. Nurses always informed family for any changes of his medical conditions. And the end of life, admin and staff were very compassionate in providing comfort care and appropriate visits for my dad and family though pandemic still in place. Moreover, admin allowed staff to attend my dad's funeral services and offered further services as needed for family during bereavement. Again, thank you so much admin team & all staff for taking good care of my dad.

The staff are excellent. Yes, we had our moments of contention, as people do in any such situation, but they are very friendly and professional. A resident at this facility has many opportunities for extra therapy and activities with knowledgeable and experienced personnel. The nurses and administration truly care about their residents. I love this facility and highly recommend it.

****NOT RECOMMENDED*** My mom was in this facility and honestly, they were constantly dropping the ball on getting my mom to her doctors appointments. I was always having to call them and speaking to the head Nurses. They just are not proactive enough. On top of that, my mom would ring for assistance for hours at night and no one would go to her room. My mother would call me between 3 and 5 am telling me to Please call them because they don’t come to her room to assist her. I’d call the front desk and it rang 25 times before someone answered the phone!! I literally had to get dressed at 5 am and go to the facility to find out why their night staff doesn’t answer the patients when they ring for help or answer the front desk phones. My mom was paralyzed from the waist down and had Cancer she was there recuperating from surgery but the staff here leaves a lot to be desired. To make matters worse, one of the male staff members yelled at my mom. When we reported it, they took my moms statement in front of me and said it would be investigated and that their head nurse would contact me, she never did. The only positive thing about this place is that it’s clean but their night staff is limited and they don’t help their patients or even answer the phone and they say they’re a 24 hour facility. The fact that they kept that make employee who yelled at my mom is a reflection of the poorly staff, poorly educated and poorly rated facility that it is. He guy that verbally abused my mom has some kind of physical disability, one eye is partially closed and on top of that has a bad attitude toward the elderly. He doesn’t belong working in this industry. So to anyone who is reading this, by day this place looks decent but at night, none of the patients are assisted. I heard several patients saying the same thing my mom was saying. They just let the patients ring and ring for help without ever checking on them. Shame on this facility for neglecting its patients this way. I hope they get sued.
