Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers

I had a knee replacement in October 2023 and have since had the other knee replaced and a hip. I have been going to Fyzical in Chelmsford through all my surgeries and the recovery process. I am facing a replacement shoulder operation next week - September 2024. I will continue going to Fyzical for the help to recover from this last surgery. Dr. Patel has been attentive, guided me through process for recovering from several operations in 11 months and I am now at the place of walking well without pain after many years. He is able to accommodate a change in schedule, when needed, and ensures that his patient receives attention and help when needed. I have already discussed the recovery process after the shoulder surgery and I am confident that the work that Dr. Patel will provide to aid my recovery, will be efficient, swift and effective to help me regain the strength and mobility of the shoulder (again without pain after the operation). I have been to several physical therapy places and nobody could help me with my neck pain and dizziness. They even gave me wrong diagnosis. Dr. Patel is the only one who told me my neck problem is causing me dizziness, headaches and my facial pain. I can’t thank him enough. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Patel. My life has changed. Two treatments and it is a whole new world. I have been suffering from vertigo for many years and just thought it was something I had to live with. I never even mentioned it to my doctor. I had an episode in the office and she wanted to know how long I had this. I said most of my life and I am 59. All past Dr said basically to suck it up. Now after 2 treatments I have no vertigo. I can't believe how much it has changed my life. THANKS!!!!!!

I've had balance problems for a few years (not vertigo, just inability to stand in place for a minute, to walk straight, or to turn without holding on to something). Several falls caused some broken bones, black eyes, and pain. A spinal surgeon did some work to relieve pressure on some nerves and then suggested physical therapy concentrating on balance. I'd tried the physical therapy associated with my health practice a few years ago and it was useless. Fyzical's full name contains "Balance" so I decided to try them. Dr. Patel listened to my many issues and started off simply. It sounds strange: first, practice how to rise from a chair. He was kind and positive and I now visit restaurants more confidently without my wife having to help. Strange #2: practice standing on a piece of foam -- not as simple as it sounds but he had suggestions and continuously spotted me to avoid falling. He suggested additional home exercises and my standing and walking are doing much better, with hopes that the surgery will soon start having even more effect. Patel is very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I cannot praise him or recommend him more highly.

I have been seeing Dr Maitul Patel for sever back pain and the results have been amazing!! I can not thank him enough. I highly recommend him.

I had been suffering for 2 weeks with vertigo. A friend mentioned that she had vertigo and saw Dr Patel at Fyzical Therapy. I made an appointment and met with Dr Patel and within two visits my vertigo was gone. He was very kind and explained everything about vertigo and the treatment. I would highly recommend him for any physical therapy needs.

I saw Dr. Patel for an extended bout of vertigo. i was so happy even after the first visit. i saw him 2 more times. It was gone.
