Went to FYZICAL for my PT and the first visit my therapist, Dustin Bui, was not able to duplicate the symptoms I was experiencing when he tested my spine where the referring doctor said my problem was located. He did some research after my visit and on the next visit was able to isolate the cause of my problems which wasn't from my spine. He had some exercises which have really helped alleviate my numbness. I really appreciated Dr Bui spending time outside of our visit to investigate other possibilities which ended up finding the cause of my problem and providing exercises to solve it. Highly recommended. Thank you!

I was referred to this Fyzical therapy clinic from my primary care physician for ongoing unresolved sciatic pain. I am writing this review specifically in regard to billing and ethics. I can't comment on the effectiveness of their therapies as I am still dealing with this pain and was unable to finish treatment. I was told verbally multiple times over separate visits, I had no copay, and I owed them nothing for the services I received. I asked several times if they were sure because this is never anything I had experienced. I found out, by accident researching an unrelated issue that I didn't have a copay, I had a coinsurance after I met my deductible. I had already gone to multiple visits. My estimation was that I was about halfway through my treatment. I called the Fyzical therapy clinic to find out what was going on. I was informed that on their end, I had no copay and owed them nothing. I was informed in that the receptionist I was speaking to wasn't as fluent with insurance as their coworker who had already left for the day. I was advised I would receive a call on Monday from them. I received the call and was informed they made a mistake, I have a coinsurance and was told they have a payment plan. I informed them I had two issues with this. One if I had known I would have to pay 100% I would not have gone and would have been at home, still in pain, because I could not afford to pay for services twice a week at that price. The second issue I had was ethically because I was told I had no copay and owed nothing. Now, I am looking at a $700+ bill. In that conversation, the person I spoke with made a comment saying that they may just have to eat that. I had to cancel the remainder of my visits and am still dealing with sciatic pain. I tried reaching out to the billing department and told them of the situation I was in and what the last person I spoke to at the clinic had said. The summation of the phone call was that since I signed the original paper stating that if insurance didn't pay, I had to. I went back to the office and informed the original receptionist of what I was told. They informed me that they would work on it and see what they could do and that the medical director had worked with folks before in my position to help them. I was told that I would receive an update the following day. I did not receive a call. I waited several days before I called. I was told they were working on it, and it was taking a while to get my medical records because they switched to a new billing system. They said they were working on a deal, and if it wasn't satisfactory, they would try for a counter offer. I received a call from the new billing department today to be informed that I had to pay for the whole bill since I signed the original paper. The new billing company said "they" have a payment plan. I told them what I was told by the receptionist at the Fyzical therapy clinic and they said they have no record of this. I called the Fyzical therapy facility and was told because they switched billing companies there was nothing they could do and that they were given a number that I could call and setup a payment plan in the last week. I was feeling very emotional at this point and voiced such. I said I didn't want to say something disrespectful. The receptionist said they would not want something rude to be said and that they would hang up and call the number on my behalf and see what they could do. At this point, I don't know what the truth is, so I can't comment on the validity of what I have been told. My perception is that the facility is not taking responsibility for their mistake in how my insurance information was read. It was either not read correctly or not to the conclusion of the information. I understand I signed the original contract. If I was communicated with upfront about the cost of the services accurately, I could have been given a choice on how to proceed with services. The choice was taken from me, and no responsibility is being taken for that element of my services.

The folks at Fyzical Therapy are all very professional and caring people. If I required surgical therapy are physical therapy after an injury I would not hesitate to go to Fyzical Therapy for whatever therapy I required.
