My child has been in therapy there for over a year now. He has made great progress. The staff is very kind, respectful, accommodating, and understanding. One day my kid’s play practice was running over and we were going to miss our appointment. They were incredibly accommodating and worked us in. My son has asked to send videos of his successes at home to his therapist via email. That says a lot to me. In my opinion, after reading the other reviews, many people lack follow through until it is emergent on their behalf. The office has been proactive and informative when it comes to changes in therapists or inconveniences from the insurance company. I think the other component here is most people don’t understand the process in which insurances and authorizations work. All the stars must align. My humble opinion as there are always three sides to every story. The therapists love their jobs and it is very evident by every smiling child carried out or walking out of the office.

My daughter started attending when she was 3 not able to communicate much and not long after she was flourishing. The staff is so nice and communicated perfectly. Every-time I asked for printed documents the staff happily did so. They also were understanding when things happened and I had to call and reschedule, most times often trying to get me in on another day/time so my daughter wouldnt miss out! The facility is clean and all the staff is amazing, although my daughter no longer attends she still asks to see her friend Miss Tina. Miss Tina now helps my younger daughter and she is doing just as good. I’m very thankful for the impact she has made on both my children.

I sent my daughter here. The staff is great and helpful, they always work with me. We have even been able to accommodate my daughter while she is out of state for several months. I talk with her therapist and even tell her what I see throughout the week, she usually tries to work corrections or lessons in on the problem areas the very next week. Communication is key and this office will go out of their way to accommodate what they can.

At first I thought they were amazing. They did so well with my daughter. She was communicating better and having less outbursts. My son also started attending...it took FOREVER to get him evaluated after I made numerous calls to the office to schedule. My experience with him has been less successful, and my daughter started to regress. She used to enjoy going, but recently it's a fight to get her in the car to go. She started having more outbursts than before. They were supposed to be going twice a week for each therapy, but they were only seen ONCE weekly. The requirement of a $35 payment for each missing a visit due to an emergency situation is unreasonable. (4 in 1 day in my case costing $140). I am a single mother of 4 children only able to work part-time due to having to care of my 2 special needs children, on Medicaid, foodstamps, and barley able to pay my bills, and to continue treatment they wanted $140!!! That's half of what I make in a week! Shameful...

My son Jack got enrolled here when he was a bit over two years old, he said a handful of small words, no sentences, was not social and very to himself. He spent a total of about a year and a half, started with therapy every day and then moved down to twice a week. He just graduated a few months ago from both OT and Speech. He talks non stop and you'd never even know that he never spoke at all previously. I cannot explain enough of how wonderful everyone in this office is, from the front desk to every single therapist. Have to give a massive thanks for our speech therapist, Mrs Alexis. She treated jack like family and went above and beyond to get him to where he needed to be. We will forever be grateful for fundamental therapy solutions and will always keep them in our thoughts and prayers for years and years to come.

I was told my child was on a wait list. I have been sitting here waiting while my child needs help. I had many conversations with this place. I had a referral and a doctors appointment set so he can confirm the referral for my insurance purpose. I called and this place told me they aren’t taking new clients. I have been on this list and now they are turning her away. Just beware if you are on the list. It’s so unprofessional. Ocala needs better healthcare and therapy options.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My son loves going to his therapy sessions, he absolutely adores all the therapists and they adore him. His speech pathologist Kylie is so attentive with him and his needs, we always discuss how the session went and what areas we can work in at home. I think the key to a child’s progress is not just going to the sessions but also communicating with the parent. The entire staff is attentive to my son and always finding ways to help my son. He recently got a diagnosis for ASD and they gave me a whole book full of information and resources that they gathered themselves. I was really impressed with that given they created a pamphlet full of resources on their own volition. Beyond grateful for FTP! I highly recommend this place.
