Thanks to Marianne and her team, my child is already starting to talk, if not for Marianne, I might still think that I just have a boy and I need to wait until he speaks! They get along well and work with children and are very helpful to parents to do everything right and save time and effort in order to help their child. Highly recommend!

We contacted this company after getting a referral from another family. We have been working with Mariana through telehealth zoom sessions. Mariana makes session fun and interesting for my son. She uses materials based on things he likes, books, songs, and other online activities. She has taught my wife and I how to play, read, talk, and teach my son to say more words. My son has shown tremendous progress in a short period of time. We highly recommend this company, especially Mariana for speech therapy services.

Functional Speech Therapy was brought into our lives after my son was evaluated through Early Intervention. Speech was 1 out of the 3 therapies recommended for my son. My son has been in early intervention for over a year now. I am extremely grateful that my son received speech therapy with first Marianna and then Lauren. As a parent; you really get to know the therapists that come into your home. My son started with 0 vocabulary and now putting 3-4 words together. It has been an amazing, grateful, heartwarming experience to watch my son flourish. I am extremely grateful that my son received speech therapy through Functional Speech. They provided us with the BEST speech therapists a parent can ask for!

We were so lucky to find functional speech therapy for our son couple of years ago. Mariana Polistchuck, the owner is so knowledgeable in all aspects of language and speech therapy. She takes her time to do the initial assessment and makes her clients feel comfortable instantly. She has so many innovative ways to get the young kids involved in the sessions and my son enjoys all his therapy sessions with her. She even suggested an AAC device for our son to help him get better at communication and even advocated for the same in his school’s IEP meetings. Her co-worker Megan Riley is also great and so friendly with kids. We have also started feeding therapy with them and can already see some improvement in our son’s eating habits. All in all, we are very happy with our decision of hiring them and Mariana and Megan have become part of our family now.

This is an awesome group of providers. All of the therapists are amazing . They do an amazing job addressing individual needs and really listen to the concerns that you have as a parent . They are Always professional, patient , kind, and loving.

My son has received at-home speech therapy with 2 different therapists over his time with Functional Speech Therapy and both of his SLPs have been exceptional! Our therapists have been very attuned to my child's speech and language needs and development, continually provide great strategies for us to work on outside of their weekly sessions, and are obviously extremely well trained in their field. Of equal importance, my son really enjoys his visits and that has made him more receptive to learning and trying new things than he has been in the past.

I contacted this company to get help for my daughter, she had speech delay and needed speech therapy services. We had an evaluation for speech therapy scheduled the next day and started services within two week. My daughter has made significant progress in her speaking skills and she can now put two words together and we couldn’t be any happier. Mariana and her team are the best!
