Forest Health and Rehab

Forest Health and Rehab was a great choice for my loved one when we were looking for placement. The staff is courteous, kind and supportive. Therapy Team is AWESOME!! I highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for rehab services. They’re passionate in what they do and really want to help you regain confidence and skills to return home safely! Thank you OT and PT for helping my loved one return home in a timely manner and nursing for their phenomenal care and support!

I was not impressed at all. My mother was only there for about 2 months. The food was terrible. Her coffee was always cold. When she passed we went to get her things and they had packed them up. We will missing a brand new sweat suit, a brand new pair of bedroom slippers, all of her candies, all of her sodas, her phone charger. These are just some of the items we were missing so no I was not impressed at all

I had a bad experience with a rehabilitation facility. At Forest Health and Rehab I was treated with respect, compassion, and kindness from every staff member. The nurses were great, the physical therapists were awesome. If I ever need help again hope I will be fortunate enough to go Forest Health and Rehab. The only complaint I have and my former roommate was the food. Not good at all and always cold.

We were very happy with the care my mother-in-law received after her fall when she broke her ankle. After surgery and a brief hospital stay, she came to Forest. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable from admissions, nursing, physical therapy, and food management. They all did whatever they could to make her stay more acceptable. They also gave her transportation to all of her outside doctor appointments. Mom made some special relationships there. She even came back to visit!

My mom is staying here for recovery after a stint in the hospital and has had a good experience. Staff is attentive and friendly, special mention to Padishia Logan who was very helpful in getting my mom admitted and settled. Mom has a view of the wooded grounds and wildlife which she enjoys. Very convenient location just blocks from Centra facilities for followups.

Fantastic facility with caring and compassionate employees! The activity program here helps to keep the Residents laughing and busy, and they are happy and smiling every time I visit- This community is also always super clean and odor free! Top notch facility for rehab in this area!

I am thoroughly impressed with Forest Health and Rehab. The team provides top notch care. I am not surprised they were voted best rehab facility in Lynchburg by 2024 Reader's Choice Awards! Way to go team!

The first thing you notice when going to a facility is the smell. Forest was SO clean, nice and organized. Everyone was so friendly. I came to tour with Padishia, the Admissions Director, and she was so knowledgeable, took her time and answered any questions I had.
