Thank you Ramya for guiding me back to better brain health. The exercises to focus and process were very beneficial! The entire experience was invaluable.

Ramya Shyam literally saved and changed the trajectory of my life. I had the privilege of working with Ramya early on in our professional lives, and as with life different paths are taken. I have not seen Ramya for well over 15 years but through social media we have seen moments in one another's lives. On April 15 I was involved in a life changing car accident. I sustained a significant head injury. Ramya reached out to me and helped me navigate a very challenging time. She made herself available at all times of the day (time differences did not matter). She provided me with names of local neurologists, different types of therapies that would best help me and did an extensive interview with me. Ramya held my hand and checked in on my progress, always reminding me that this is not a race. I finished my last day of therapies last week after 3 months, 2xs a week. Ramya Shyam is the only reason I will be able to begin teaching in 2 weeks at full time capacity. She gave me hope. Ramya is brilliant, honest and attentive. I don't know where my life would be had she not reached out to me. Thank you will never be enough.

Ramya made what was an extremely stressful time in my life easier by offering excellent advice, patience, and care to my family dealing with a traumatic brain injury and concussion due to an automobile accident. The steps she gave us were easy to follow and we were encouraged to ask questions and reach out with any concerns along the way. She did a fantastic job providing my husband with a good plan forward, documentation required, additional doctors we should consult, and was extremely valuable in fast-tracking his Healthcare needs.

I first started seeing Ramya Shyam a few months ago, after my optometrist recommended that I obtain her help in tackling some lingering brain-based symptoms that a recent course of vision therapy had not completely eradicated. I have seen Ramya several times since my first appointment with her. I cannot possibly say enough about her clinical perspicacity, depth of understanding, kindness, and skill in both assessing and treating a host of subtle yet impactful executive function issues that have affected my day-to-day task performance and occupational wellness for decades. I only wish I'd found Ramya during my school years, but I'm very grateful to have her in my corner now! Through her initial testing, Ramya was able to hone in on what exactly was going on with my brain function and was then able to provide very specific suggestions for how to address the issues that tend to get in my way. Ramya has worked patiently and flexibly with me as I've integrated her recommendations into my daily life, coaching me through the slight tech-related learning curve I've had to navigate in order to make use of the new organizational tactics. I have ultimately found every one of her suggestions manageable to implement and extremely useful, and there aren't any neurocognitive issues that she hasn't been able to help me find solutions for. I have also found Ramya's ability to relate and connect to me on a human-to-human level to be extraordinary. Both the fact that our work together has been grounded in that sense of connection and the persistent feeling of being rooted for as a neurodivergent single mom have propelled me to engage wholeheartedly in making the changes necessary to improve my quality of life. If I hadn't had the sense this whole time that my functioning, solvency, and wellness all mattered greatly to Ramya, it would have been so much harder to stick with the difficult moments that inevitably popped up along the way. If you are seeking an experienced, insightful, and compassionate clinician who provides highly-skilled neurocognitive evaluations and research-based interventions for improving your daily functioning and performance, I highly recommend Ramya Shyam!

Ramya is an expert in her field and has been an incredible resource for our family after our son suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. She understands the mechanisms of the brain and how to "reach" those areas that need new pathways. We are so grateful to have her as our SLP for such an incredibly complex case such as ours. Thank you, Ramya.

I was involved in a serious accident and received a head injury. Ramya was very patient and caring. When I didn’t make a few appointments, most doctors would have moved on but she continued to be in contact and voiced her concerns with my injuries. I am well on my way to full recovery thanks to her .

Ramya delivers clarity and guidance, when you need it most, partnering with you and your medical team to deliver both your roadmap and day-to-day frameworks to exercise and achieve your potential. Partnering with Ramya, a neurologist and a physical therapist allowed me to return to my workplace and strive towards the goals I’d always imagined. Brain injuries alter how you think, work and interact–they change who you are and can impact who you’ll be. Choose an experienced therapist to help you heal and learn to thrive. Choose Ramya.
