My son went their for OT and speech. Many sessions with no clear plan and they do not know how to communicate with my kid or i. Would not recommend for kids at least

Have been here twice for early morning walk-in blood work. Receptionists are professional & courteous. The phlebotomy technicians are equally professional & polite.

The providers know what they are talking about, but the staff is too firm with their communication. I'm autistic and have tried to explain my difference in communication and have asked for slower pace, but these providers are too fast for me and the front desk is impatient and snippy. I was also referred for both OT for strengthening social, developmental, and verbal language skills I lapsed on in childhood and PT for strengthening my body, and 3 different people told me I didn't need OT because it's only for people who are recovering from strokes. I used to work at a center for autistic individuals and have worked with OT with my students. I also have an EEG scheduled for Nov. 7 with Yale Neurology for possible seizures, and I am a whole case workup, but you all seem to know me and my conditions so well for people who talk right over me.

I went to this lab for a simple blood draw and what a nightmare that turned out to be…the olderwoman that took my blood was curt and rude and actually ended up hitting a nerve in my arm. When I jumped in surprise (that’s never happened and I didn’t know what it was) she looked at me like I did something wrong!! When I asked her what happened and if my arm was gonna be ok she rudely said “can you move your fingers?” And I could and she said “then it fine, blood came out fine” and threw a bandage on. Meanwhile my arm is buzzing and feels awful and she goes and sits at her computer and I’m standing there like “umm now what??” And she tells me to leave without looking. My arm is still bothering me and it’s going to take a while to heal unfortunately. I’m giving two stars because the front desk staff was wonderful, but the phlebotomist might want to reconsider her career choice!

In twenty years of having blood drawn I have had friendly, communicative, competent service without mishap, ever to date. They make every effort! Recently a technician realized a doctor ordered blood draw must be done at the hospital due to strict control conditions for type of test. Awareness!

I went in to get a blood test. She had no idea what she was doing. She stuck me twice, moving the needles around causing a lot of pain and the needles were not even close to the veins. Very bad! She definitely needs more training. We had to switch to May to do it. May was much better. The check-in person was rude and mean. Not a good place to go for test.

I actually had an appointment at Quest and accidentally went to this facility. I believe back in the day Quest was at this location, but I could be wrong. Anyway the receptionist at Flanders Health Center was very rude, condescending and dismissive when I asked her if I was at Quest. I asked her if she could tell me where Quest was and she said she didn't know. Quest actually is right across the street and I have learned that the two facilities talk frequently. Not sure why someone who's in a field to help people would be so petty and rude to someone who obviously made a mistake. .

BEWARE of the Red Haired receptionist. She’s highly judgemental, miserable, and wants to make your day hard. Don’t let her rain on your sunshine. When your number is called and it’s her, hurry and run to the bathroom. Maybe she’ll be busy when you return, and you can get one of the other nice Lady’s :-)
