Fit Physical Therapy - Saint George, UT

I had an injury to both of my Achilles tendons. Anyone that has had an injury there knows it’s very painful and has a long recovery period. It took me 4 months. If it isn’t torn, physical therapy is the only way to treat it. A physical therapy clinic close to my Dr’s office was recommended. After 4 visits I wasn’t pleased with the care I was receiving or the progress of healing the injury. I rarely saw the Physical Therapist, only students that would attach a TENS machine and check on me every once in a while. Then I found Fit Physical Therapy. Physical Therapist Trent was very understanding of what I was going through with an Achilles injury and was with me the entire hour I was there, on every visit. A TENS machine was never used. It was always messages to the area by hand, which included stretching and then demonstrating the proper way to stretch at home. But something else Trent did was to explain to me how to get my mind to work with me in my recovery, to overcome the pain, and how much pain I should expect. VERY informative. After six visits I can walk relatively normal again, and can see the end to my injury is in sight. I HIGHLY recommend Fit Physical Therapy. The entire staff is great. Always very respectful, professional, and aimed to please the patient.

I wish I could leave 2 reviews. I worked with Alyssa for several months for a shoulder issue. She was awesome and deserves at least 5 stars. The billing department on the other hand has been really difficult to work with. I'd give them 1 or 0 stars. I've had consistent issues with them. I knew from my first visit I should have co-pays but every time I asked about it I'd be told nope, everything is covered. My last visit was in Sept of 2023. The next January, I get billed for co-pay for 2 of the 19 visits. I called the billing department to find out what was up-Why was there only 2 visits billed for and why only now several months later when I've been asking every time. The individual I talked with said that yes there were only the 2 co-pays due and that everything else had been processed and they'd put a note in my chart saying I had called about it and everything was cleared. Now, a year later I get billed for co-pays for the other 17 visits. After calling their billing department and leaving a voice-mail 3 different times I finally got through to someone. But they were just a jerk. They would not listen to why I was disputing it and just kept saying, "Well, your insurance company told us to collect." The billing member just kept saying that I'd have to talk to the person I had talked to before. When I asked to be transferred to them, the next answer was, they don't work here, we've changed billing departments since then. I then called my insurance company who verified that the claims were not submitted until March...after the previous phone call confirming everything was processed and I didn't owe anymore. I don't think I'll use them, or recommend them to anyone due to their very unprofessional billing department.

I was very happy with my Physical Therapist Roger, and with the service I received at FIT. I know my recovery was successful because of the help I received there. It is a very clean, well organized environment. The employees are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I had a great experience.

Alyssa is a terrific PT! I sought her out a month ago with lower back pain and tightness. She prescribed me many different stretches and strengthening exercises that have helped me tremendously. I’m an avid weightlifter and she took that into consideration when working with me. She knows her stuff and has a friendly disposition and personality as well. Thank you, Alyssa! -Chris

I’ve been seeing Karen Myers off and on for a couple years. She is so amazing at what she does. Karen truly loves and cares for her patients. She is and always will be my only physical therapist. I’ve had better results with Karen than I have with anyone else.

The whole team over at FIT PT has been awesome! The therapists and staff know what they are doing and run a very organized clinic. I would recommend to anyone looking for quality care!

I received a phone call from Fit Physical Therapy telling me they were going to dismiss my case because the therapist I was working with, went on maternity leave early. I understand people have babies but they didn't offer an alternative idea or another PT - just said we are going to dismiss your case. Poor Poor Poor! I will never give them my business ever again.
