First Care Urgent Care - Richmond, IN

I was greeted at the counter and then told to be seated she got me checked in. I only waiting maybe 10 minutes. I don’t think it was even that long and a lady called me back. She did the intro stuff and shortly thereafter Dr. Coy came right in! They got me in and out and were friendly!! I was sooo happy with my experience around 35 minutes from the time I walked in!! Thank you all at First Care!!!!

It was a great experience. The nurse helping in the back was wonderful. She made it easy! The reason for 4 stars is the lady at the front desk was not very friendly and she’s lacking customer service skills.

Very nice and thorough. I didn't have to wait long at all. They took good care of me. Perfect solution when you're doctor can't see you.

I will start with this….everyone is different and some people’s expectations are too high for most things in life including a walk-in clinic. You cannot expect to be seen quickly or at whatever the hell you consider to be your convenience depending on the amount of other patients AND some patients already have an appointment scheduled through their website. I scheduled my daughter’s appointment on the website and was a walk in for myself on 10/16/24. I advise people that choose to go here regardless of the concern, to make it easier on EVERYONE and schedule an appointment on their website!! With that being said, I was a walk-in in the evening of 10/16/24 for a sinus infection. I filled out an online form with some personal info including my insurance information etc while in the waiting room to get checked in. I waited maybe 5 minutes afterwards before a nurse called my name to be seen. Wasn’t too long after sitting in the exam room that I was able to see the doctor. Staff was friendly. I’m not sure if it’s one doctor at this location or not, but this is the second time I have seen Dr Baker (first time was for my daughter) and she is very considerate, professional, caring, and definitely there to help you no matter what the nature of your visit is. I was also at this clinic around September, 2021 testing positive for Covid but was so sick that it was a blur really. But I know, and my friend who took me said so herself, that I was taken care of and treated with dignity and respect even when I was half dead and preferred to lay out on the concrete in the parking lot than to sit in the waiting room like a normal person I guess. If I or my daughter are not able to get into our PCP quick enough to be seen, we will always choose to go to First Care!! I highly recommend anyone in the same situation to consider doing the same. And like I mentioned before, you can get right on their website and make an appointment and also take pictures of your insurance card and ID/license so that all you do when you arrive is check in. It’s that simple.

I had a great experience. They were quick and efficient and since it was Sunday they found a pharmacy that was open and nearby so I could start my medication right away. It wasn't expensive either. Even though they were close to closing I saw them still taking walk in patients without being rude and sending them away.

I've always had the best experience with First Care Urgent Care. They have the friendliest staff, and I always see positive things around the office. For instance, when I took my 2 year old in, they were playing positive affirmations on the TV for kids. When I've been in previously, I noticed a television giving holistic remedies as a slide show. I love to see this!!

The staff was great from front desk to the attending Doctor. They gave you an appointment time so you can leave and come back or wait there. The wait time on e we returned for my appt was not bad at all. I felt confident with the medical assistant and doctor and the diagnosis given. I am a self pay and they even let me decide if I wanted further information which would cost more or not. Great experience all the way around.

Was seen promptly at selected time. NP was thorough and.helpful. Woman at desk came to parking lot and helped my husband get into our car. We were pleased with the visit.
