Kirsten is amazing and a phenomenal teacher! The Play Project is by far the best therapy our son has received. Kirsten has been so helpful in connecting us with other providers to continue to help our son. This approach needs to be shared across the world for parents struggling to get their child help with ASD.

Kirsten is the best therapist I've ever known. We see her for PLAY project. She is very knowledgeable about PLAY project and also being an occupational therapist ,she deeply understood my daughter's struggles and strengths and worked with her accordingly. Kiki helped us as parents understand our daughter more and taught us how to interact with our daughter and her interact with us. My daughter is always happy and comfortable during therapy as Kiki follows her lead and make the session a lot of fun. I can't thank Kirsten enough for everything!!

I cannot give Kirsten at First Achievements enough stars! PLAY project has helped my daughter with autism so much. Her engagement has increased significantly and I am so happy to have the shared attention that I do today. I am forever grateful for everything Kirsten has done for my daughter and our family. Kirsten has also trained me in the Qigong massage and it has helped my daughter tremendously. When this massage is given consistently, my daughter sleeps better through the night and has regular bowel movements. QST really is a game changer! If you are thinking of giving PLAY Project a try, don’t walk, RUN! Kirsten is phenomenal!

Kirsten and PLAY project have been life changing for our family. We started seeing Kirsten just before my daughter received her autism diagnosis. It was a very challenging time for me as a parent and from my very first meeting with Kirsten, I knew my daughter was exactly where she needed to be. We had been to many different doctors, therapists, and psychologists and being a developmental therapist myself, we were surrounded by so many friends that are therapists. Kirsten is the first one that did not tell me what I needed to change about my daughter, but instead told me what I needed to change about myself to meet my daughter where she was. Our very first in-person session, Kirsten guided me on how to play with my daughter and I got to hear my daughter really laugh for the first time in months. This review could never do justice to how grateful I am to Kirsten and I cannot recommend her enough.

Kirsten Brown with First Achievements is amazing! The space is clean, inviting and perfect for all of my child's needs. Kirsten goes above and beyond for her clients in every aspect, from room adjustments to personal adjustments for your child and his/her support system. She truly invests her time, energy and soul into what she does, and it shows at all times. Best OT ever!

My son Mason has autism. We have done numerous different therapies and have found benefits from many; however, our favorite therapy to date has been PLAY project. Play project encourages you to fill the baseline fundamental play skills before moving up the pyramid to higher level skills. Kirsten guided us in our efforts to meet Mason where he was and join him in play. We spent weeks just playing games that Mason would engage in. I love everything about PLAY project and truly believe that it greatly contributed to Mason finding his way back to us and out of his isolated play. PLAY project promoted big brother Hayden, my husband and me to “therapists” and Mason’s best friends. It was fun! It was easy! It was amazing. I highly recommend this therapy to anyone who has not found the right way to engage with your child yet.

Kirstin was referred to me by a friend when things weren’t working out for my daughter at a different ot. From the beginning it was a great experience. I got more from a 30 minute phone conversation with Kirsten than with anyone. She suggested we start the Qigong massage to help my daughter. To be honest I was a little skeptical and overwhelmed after reading the book. Kirsten was there every step of the way and you can tell she genuinely cares. It was easier then I thought it would be. Not that we don’t have nights that are hard. I can’t even believe how fast we started seeing results. My daughter for the first time went to the playground and didn’t have a panic attack when a kid looked at her. She even gave me a kiss for the very first time. I’m still blown away with the difference it is making. I feel like this is going to give my little girl a much better quality of life. I will forever be grateful!
