The absolute worst!!! I got a voicemail on Friday advising me that the owner doesn’t do “retroactive billing” for physical therapy and my treatment would be paused unless I paid out of pocket or with my health insurance. Now, i called the office and inquired about the voicemail. The representative who answered said “well the owner stated she does not accept retroactive payments” and I informed the representative that it is illegal to ask the patient to pay for a service out of pocket when the service is covered by active coverage. Furthermore, why would you ask me to use my health insurance when you have the MVA claim number and can bill them directly. Would you not submit a claim to the health insurance in the same fashion as submitting the claim to the car insurance? The girl said well that’s what the owner said. I said well the owner is wrong and you have the claim number and you have the adjusters information call them and find out how you submit their claim. The only time you would be “retroactively submitting for payment” is if you failed to submit the claim to the insurance company and didn’t get paid. She said well the owner will be here today i can have her call you. I said, call me for what? She needs to call the adjuster to get paid not me. As for my afternoon appointment there should be absolutely no charge to me since you are refusing to treat me. If your refusing to treat me that’s one thing but demanding I pay you up front when I have proper coverage is unacceptable. I do not recommend and the people I just referred I’m getting ready to call and advise they need to go elsewhere. Absolutely unprofessional!

Fight Back is a great clinic. All of the physical therapists there work 1 on 1 with patients for the entire session. I've been working with Austin for a while now on some very chronic pain issues and so far things have been going well and I'm seeing improvements. What has been very helpful for me is that Austin has both a significant physical therapy background as well as an extensive background in strength and conditioning, so he has been able to help me build a workout plan that does not irritate my existing issues. This has allowed me to slowly gain strength and I'm feeling optimistic that I will continue to improve month by month. I would highly recommend Austin and Fight Back to anyone needing physical therapy.

I have worked with several physical therapists over the years; my therapist, Austin, at Fight Back is hands down the best and scores the highest! Austin was referred to me by my Doctor. He has helped tremendously with my knee, my shoulders and back. Austin is extremely knowledgeable and has educated me on exercises, various equipment for my home, nutrition and overall well being. He is empathetic, genuinely compassionate and has helped alleviate discomfort and improve my overall well being and outlook on life; it doesn’t get better than Austin at Fight Back.

Have achieved amazing results with the PTs at Fight Back. Everyone is friendly and kind. Customer service is clearly a priority. I have recommended these PTs to several friends and will continue to do so. My evaluation was for an old injury that an ortho told me would require surgery. I walked out of that first PT appt in tears because after one visit, my mobility was vastly improved, the pain was gone and I had a plan to address the problem that did not involve surgery. I am forever grateful for the care I receive here!

The owner, Katie, is a great asset to the Charlotte Physical Therapy network. When talking to Katie her expertise is bar none. Within minutes of the conversation, you can tell she's beyond knowledgeable about PT and diagnosing people. She was born to be a PT by her knowledge of the human body and how it all connects. Her office is very clean and modern, with all the equipment you would expect to see at a PTs office. The front desk staff are all very friendly and get you checked in promptly and follow-up with paperwork for your insurance. In addition to talking with Katie, Austin treated me, and he was fantastic. Like Katie he was very knowledgeable about the human body and knew which spots to hit. He gave me exercises to use at home to make me feel better in addition to his treatments. Definitely worth going!

Fight back is the best physical therapy clinc in the charlotte area and its not close. I had been to multiple before going to Fight back and seeing Brandon... The others before would just give me exercises to do and send me on my way. Brandon was very knowledgable and was able to hone in on the issue and treat it will a combination of dry needling, cupping, and exercises. I feel just as good now as i did before my surgery and i owe a lot of that to Brandon

The Physical Therapists at Fight Back Performance and Recovery are some of the best I have ever had! The one-on-one care I have received from Austin, Jordan, and Brandon has been excellent. At Fight BAck they are more focused on identifying and treating the causes of my problems rather than just the symptoms. You can't get that kind of care from some of these PTs seeing 2+ patients at a time. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the Charlotte/surrounding area!

I can’t say enough good things about Fight Back. Austin Williams has helped me through so many obstacles with my hip both before and after surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable with his doctorate in PT and he is also so uplifting and positive. He is a great listener and tailors your therapy to YOU. So grateful for this practice!
