This place is TERRIBLE! They shuffled me around among their FNPs and all of them either ignored what I was telling them was wrong or tried to pump me full of prescriptions without giving me a diagnosis. When I asked to be switched to an MD they refused. There is a serious lack of communication between office staff and practitioners that lead to me having a scare involving a perscription I am allergic to. They also referred me to a specialist and when I received the referral letter it had simple spelling mistakes and listed my phone number as the specialists number to contact. They need to learn how to treat patients like people instead of numbers. I will NEVER go back.

The people are certainly caring, but like ALL healthcare in the area, they're understaffed, under funded, overworked to the point of being non functional. Along with the other Medicare clinics in northern California, they might as well not exist. I have a failed total knee replacement and am in a life threatening condition, in extreme pain, the road is closed due to flooding and there is "nothing they can do...". If you are blessed with perfect health, Ferndale is wonderful. If not, better think twice before moving here.

The doctors are nice but follow-up by the staff is slow to non-existent. I have to walk everything forward myself. Referrals take months, prescription refills take weeks, forms are lost, no one will take responsibility for the disfuncion. They blame me for their problems.

They have always treated me with respect and have been great advocates for me! They have gotten me seen by specialist as quickly as possible. They have worked with my insurance to get me into get a MRI where other offices would have left it up to me.

My mom has been going here happy for a couple years now, they recently switched doctors and nurses and after my mom and sister said NO to a pnumonia shot because it instantly gives her the sickness they continued to give her TWO shots for it and when she called to ask for a antibiotics perscription they said its probably because shes a smoker, she will have to come in to prove the FACT that she had pnumonia these people are downright ignorant, uncaring and just lucky i dont have the money to sue them for malpractice. If you nurses and doctors there read this just try caring a little more about your patients health instead of a paycheck from her coming 35 miles with pnumonia in the winter time 5 days before christmas. Just do your job and perscribe it I could hear the rattle in her chest over the phone. I hope your buisness goes under and your licences are stripped.

They were great with my mom. I found Physician Assistant Maggie Lee reassuringly knowledgeable and a good listener.

All good in my experience. This is not a posh boutique medical practice, but people are friendly, helpful, and competent.

Phenomenal physician and advocate. Great mind, great bedside manor. Always attuned to the patient.
