Fauquier Health Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

We took our 3 year old with autism to see speech therapist Cathy at Fauquier Health. She is amazing and very good with children! We had seen a few different speech therapists before and I found that many had the same standard approach that wasn’t working well with my son. She used a child led play approach and it really helped him improve. He was pretty much nonverbal but started using more word approximations, making more eye contact, and using new signs as well! She also worked with his sensory needs to make sure his sensory system was in a good place to learn. After each session she provided me feedback on how things went and also gave me recommendations for things to do at home. My son does not take to many adults but would run to Cathy smiling every time we arrived. She truly is the best there is and we will miss her as we move out of VA.

Received wonderful therapy for my 2 year old and 4 year old. My two year old needed physical therapy to help with some developmental delays and Meredith Crowley was absolutely amazing with her. My daughter is very reserved and Meredith had her smiling and enjoying herself the whole time. Both my kids also see OT - Bethany and Christine - and are doing wonderful in it. Both have had their own hurdles and the therapists have diligently worked through the problems and my concerns. And last but not least, the front desk. They are such a well oiled machine. Helped with scheduling so much and always greeted me with a smile. Very grateful for such a wonderful staff.

My son started working with Cathy for speech therapy shortly after turning two, after a speech delay was identified. Cathy quickly came up with an action plan for each session as well as what we could work on at home to increase his progress. After a little under a year my son had exceeded expectations and completely closed the gap from where he was and what was expected at his age, leaving our family with an extremely chatty and confident toddler who is ready for preschool. My son and our family came to look forward to his weekly speech sessions and were all sad to have to say goodbye when he no longer needed treatment. We cannot express how much we appreciate her professionalism and expertise, and genuine care she showed for our son, and do not hesitate at all in recommending her to help others.

Fauquier Health Outpatient Rehab was a God-send to our family. The office staff was friendly, accommodating to our schedule and knowledgeable about insurance needs. My son’s therapist, Bruce, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about best practices to rehab our boy, while also making it fun. Our son actually looked forward to PT; never once a complaint. Bruce saw him through the most traumatic event in his 11- year old life with encouragement, laughter, and an appropriate competition to drive him to be his best! 10/10 recommend

This was an amazing experience during a difficult time. I had no idea the hospital had physical therapy, but I’m so glad I found out. Dave was kind, patient, and understanding. I could not have asked for a better fit in a physical therapist. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and knows when to push you and when to pull back. He helped me physically and mentally during an injury that was one of my toughest to date. I can’t say enough about how this experience helped me make weekly strides. I always left feeling more confident and strong. The office staff and other therapists were always so friendly and helpful too. I HIGHLY recommend this facility.

I can't compliment the entire staff, especially my present therapist Bruce Edwards, enough for their skill, professionalism, & friendliness. I have had the opportunity to work with two other staff members in the past year & their abilities are also exemplary. Thank you all for making my recoveries the best possible!!

The best place to get therapy, my son had Linda and Dave, I had Kristen. Now I need to get appointment for my hubby.

Bruce was very knowledgeable in the my treatment for my knee. The exercises were simple and easy. He made sure I completely understood them. My knee is so much better. Thanks. Carol
