On Monday, October 7, 2024, I presented to Fast Pace Health Urgent Care for removal of stitches to my left index finger, from a kitchen knife manual sharpening accident (my fault, totally!). I had received my sutures from a local ER. The staff, my wonderful Technician (who took my history, blood pressure, and temperature), as well as my outstanding Nurse Practitioner, who painstakingly removed my stitches (no easy feat!) -- were all excellent! I will gladly return if my clumsiness continues. The wait to be seen was very short, and I was taken care of -- and out the door -- within an hour of my arrival. Please, don't hesitate to come to Fast Pace Health Urgent Care in Alabaster, Alabama. It will be painless!

This was by far the worst experience at any urgent care I’ve ever been to . They keep me in the room for 2 hours I literally had to open the door to acknowledge. And still had to another 20 minutes the nurse practitioner was super nice and helpful

I have finally found a good Dr. It only took 42 years, ha. Dr. Rogers is awesome! She listens therefore she doesn't rush you. She goes above & beyond! LOVE her. Her nurse is awesome too! The rest of the staff is friendly as well. Thank you Fast Pace Alabaster!!

4/5 stars simply because staff needs to be better trained on costs of services. I was given conflicted information about payments, which ended up putting me in the hole. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect! All staff were extremely kind and patient with me, as well as very thorough in my care. And they displayed all of that when I came in super late and kept them past closing!!! Highly recommend this location!!

Ive brought my daughter in here twice now and the nurses are rude and not concerned at all. Nurses are rude and not polite at all. Need to be trained better in customer service. There is no reason my kid should be treated this way. The nurses dont really listen to the concerns of the parent either. I WILL NOT be bringing my daughter in here again unless its to see Dr. Rodgers as she is my Dr and is absolutely phenomenal.

I've had good experience, 1 maybe 2, in the past but today's has made it very clear I will never be back. Literally about to walk out the door now. Made an online appointment for 12:45 and I was told it would at least 3 o'clock before I could be seen. They let me leave and said they'd call me when my appointment was ready. Got back at 2:45. It is now past 4 o'clock and still waiting to see a doctor... If you are sick or any kind of pain you better go somewhere else, Literally anywhere else! Also after over 4hr wait the RNP informed me that they don't actually have doctors working at these clinics so. That means if you're hurting or actually sick Fast Pace is very limited on how they can help... I left worse then when I arrived, would've just gone to the ER if I'd none doctors don't actually work there!

This was my first time going to Fast Pace Health Urgent Care. Everyone was friendly, the place was so clean and wait time was so short. I was so impressed I am using them as my primary care now. They have added Orthopedic services a soon dermatology....one-stop for most of your needs

I came here because i don’t have a family Dr and no one would see a new patient until the following week and my only two options were hospital or here at the urgent care. I can’t afford a huge bill just to step foot in the hospital so I chose urgent care. I went in because I had unbearable inner ear pain from an infection and it cause my blood pressure to be high and I felt like I was going to pass out or vomit. It was voting day, my appt was for 8:45 and when I got there it said because of voting they wasn’t opening until 9:00. Well fine, I’ll give them that but once they opened the doors at 9, I sat in that waiting room FOREVER with major ear pain. When I say forever. It was atleast an hour and a half. My appt was 8:45 and I didn’t leave the clinic until I believe around 11:00. That’s a long time with major pain like that. When I got taken back I told them what was going on and I cried to the nurse because the pain was unbearable, and I have a high pain tolerance. I told her I was gonna pass out and she gave me some Tylenol. The Dr finally came in and she was really nice , (by this time my Tylenol helped the pain where I wasn’t crying anymore but was still hurting my ear, jaw and teeth) , she looked in my ear and said “ it was about to pop “ .. no wonder it was hurting like it was. she gave me two shots, one for pain , one antibiotic. Then she prescribed me ear drops and amoxicillin. I got prescribed no pain meds to take home. so now it’s the next day and I’m sitting here with no pain meds fixing to cry because of the pain again but I can’t afford the hospital so unless it makes me pass out, I’m going back to urgent care tomorrow for my follow up appt. Did they think the pain would just disappear the next day? I have two kids, 7 and a 1 yr old. My 1 yr old is teething so imagine dealing with that and having extruciating pain. Why don’t people prescribe pain meds when you clearly are in pain and will be the next day or maybe two days? I get people nowadays use pills for other things and that screws it up for people who really need it. I need it and now I’m having to suffer through it until my next appt tomorrow because I wasn’t prescribed anything. I know this is a long post, but Ibuprofen ain’t cutting it and I’m in so much pain.
