Farmingdale Physical Therapy East

They are excellent. They make you feel welcome. The physical therapists are extremely knowledgeable. The place is clean. Each patient gets their own little space which gives them some privacy when getting heat or ice, and when the therapist works on them and when you are doing some of the exercises. They spend a good amount of time with each patient, too. I was worried because I had to find a new physical therapist after 14 years with the same one. I had no idea how they would compare. Farmingdale PT made me almost forget about him. And that is the highest compliment I can pay a physical therapist.

I have used 3 different Phylical Therapy facilities & found Farmingdale PT to be the best. They are all professionals & treat you like family. They have offered great advise before, during , and after surgery & to help improve your health. The equipment is up to date, and everything is clean. The tables are private if needs to be. I would recommend Farmingdale PT.

I have been a patient of John Dugan and Farmingdale Physical Therapy East for over twenty five years. My therapy for various orthopedic injures has been treated in a timely and professional manner. John and the staff are very knowledgeable and are responsive to every patient's needs and questions. The staff provides very personalized care They knew who I was and my my care needs after the first visit. I have been provided with personalized exerises and infortmation that have provided me with continued pain free since my last visti for that issue a year ago. I have to agree with other reviewer down below. The staff is courteous and friendly, however after two visits and consulting both of my doctors, we decided this place just doesn't seem attentive or serious enough about the work needed. It seemed like a total of twenty minutes on exercises and focused on heat and tens--both I do at home. Left both days without any take home exercises. Waited in between exercises too long. PT was nice but only worked briefly with you. Why drive the distance to a place when there are multiple PT centers in every town. My doctor found me a place he knew and approved of two a miles from home. Now I'm loaded up with home exercises and not wasting my set amount of insurance approved treatments --shelling out my copays on weak PT places. Find out what you need to be doing at these places before you go so you don't waste your time or money. My hospital system asked me if I got a follow up call from the PT after leaving--I had to say no. Not surprised. "Fast Food...."

A friend of mine recommended Farmingdale Physical Therapy location years ago when I was unhappy with another place. My husband and I have since been treated here for several injuries. Each time the owner, John Dugan, and his therapists were extremely knowledgeable and treated us with compassion and professionalism. They made suggestions to help improve our recovery and provide updates to our doctors. We would highly recommend this facility and any of the therapists employed there. The front desk will always do what they can to accommodate your appointments to your schedule. We are happy that they now have a second location! They are THE BEST!

As a person who refuses to acknowledge that he may actually be getting older, I have been "rebuilt" by John and his team multiple times over the years. Simply put, they are incredible! Their attention to detail, and their level of patient care is unmatched. It is laughable to me that folks would go once or twice and decide it's not working. Often, it takes time to properly diagnose, and figure out the appropriate course of rehab for an injury, or after a surgical procedure. John is an amazing listener with decades of expertise and experience. Sometimes there isn't a "quick fix," and jumping into the incorrect course of rehab helps absolutely no one...will only create major setbacks and months of uphill battles. It may even take more than 2 visits to get it right, but in the end getting it right is all that matters. In my experience the staff at F'dale Physical Therapy always gets it right! I wouldn't trust my functional health to anyone else.

Friendly, courteous desk staff, and the therapy staff are great! Used this facility for several medical issues and had successful recoveries! Family members all go here also. Caring, Compassionate & understanding crew!
