Family Practice of Holyoke

We were visiting my parents recently in Holyoke. My son got sick while we were visiting. I called the clinic right away in the morning to get an appointment for my son. They not so conveniently said that they could get him in at 7:00 AM, the next day. Now, I understand that things get booked and so forth, but, my son is sick now. Tomorrow doesn't do him any good and it wastes a day of him feeling miserable. I was able to get him in that morning at the Sedgwick County Health Clinic. We drove there and they took care of us right away. He ended up having strep throat. He took his meds right away that morning by 5:00 PM he was feeling better and the next afternoon he was much better and able to visit with family. I was very disappointed that they wouldn't get him in the day they we tried to make an appointment. I hope that is normal around there.
