Fall River Valley Health Center

My wife caught Covid. She needed urgent care. This Falls River office gave Covid test (positive) and took vitals (fever, low pulse ox), but said we can’t see a doctor for 3.5 hours and we have to wait in the parking lot. This is not my idea of Urgent care. They were nice and said we could go to their Burney office The Falls River office said they called Burney and made an appointment for us at 1 pm. As instructed we went to Burney office, called from the parking lot at 12:59 only to be told we don’t have appointment and there are 6 patients ahead of us. I called Falls River again and they said they did everything right and Burney office dropped the ball. There was no ownership of the problem.

I have trama that makes me afraid of visiting the doctor. These people are always very kind and careful with me and have helped to break my fear of the doctor. I check in electronically and its always fast process, getting in and out. The girl who drew my blood was top notch. I didnt even feel it and she had an excellent bedside manner. The people at the front desk are always nice, too. Im so relieved to be in these peoples care.

The staff is very friendly and kind. Always willing to listen to you and go above and beyond for your needs. Thank you for providing me with such kind and compassionate care. Erika is the best. Get in to see her if you can. She will listen to you and treat you as if you are one of her own family members. I deeply appreciated that.

I think 0 stars really. Incompetent, useless at receiving and dealing with faxes for refills for a simple yet very important asthma inhaler. 2 weeks of sending 4 faxes is not acceptable medical practice. If this were the first incident I might overlook it, but, sadly, it is a pattern with the MVHC. The staff lie. The drs don't return calls. And the office manager doesn't care. Still hasn't returned my call from the incident at Burney Medical Center! I am filing a complaint with the insurance company and the medical board and I hope they can prevent MVHC from refills of the wrong meds and/or no meds. If I can't trust my healthcare team, who can I trust?! Very sad. They are all so uncaring. I will have to go to round mountain I suppose.

I love the staff and my doctor. He listens and will do anything to make you feel better!
