When I had to relinquish my brother to their care they were called Aspen Living Center. And 4 out of 5 stars. It was great for about 3 months. Then they sold the place to an outside agency that wanted to maximize profit. Then the complaints started rolling in. My brother had a stroke and short term memory loss. And he was a cook... And always complained about food. So I didn't take him seriously until I saw it. Worse than prison food. Launched an investigation. They fired the nameless cook who can't be reached. Threaten to sue... Oh we are under new management. "We need your brother's ID and birth certificate." You had that when he went in and when you lost it the first time I emailed it to your office manager. "Well we lost it when the company changed... And Monica no longer works here." Then suddenly it went from fully covered by insurance to "he owes us money". Did you check with his case worker... "we have no control over that". Did you check with his registered primary physician? "We gave consults to outside providers as is our right by the document you signed". Basically they got total control over his medical information, stole his social security, got him to play along by telling him that the only way he gets out is to do what they say, and.... He's no angel. They feel like like they can deflect anything by saying he's 6'3 and 300lbs. And try to categorize him as a danger. But his older brothers are 6'8 and 6'6. He was a runt who played Magic the Gathering and DnD and raised a kitten that he found by the side of the road. The stroke changed him. Of course it did. But not that much. He's not allowed to order pizza anymore because he shares it with his friends... Who are on dietary and choking restrictions... So I get that. But that's what they have documented. He's kind but not not aware of consequences. But also they need hazard pay because he's big and "scary". Giant teddy bear with a high IQ is very scary to an administrative body that wants comatose patients with no family members to report anything. Also. They don't have a receptionist. "You can call anytime". Lies. You can call anytime.. but you will call three times with it ringing until your phone times out. Then when you finally get a human (7th or 9th call) "I'm not his nurse, let me put you on hold". Then it hangs up. Statement from current owner "Medicaid doesn't pay for office staff. You know how it is." I was pretending to be a wealthy independent. Anyway... My brother who should be fully covered by Medicaid now owes them money that they got my octogenarian mother to pay. And social security has been paying into their account... Not my brother's account. So freaking shady. Every time I meet someone who wants to help me... Company got sold... She no longer works here... We need these documents with identity theft information that you already submitted but we can't find. Freaking awful place

Have lived in the neighborhood for years. Every time they get enough bad reviews and/or inspections, they change names and nothing else. All kinds of alarms and mechanical noises coming from the building for a long time now. Have called them about it and they just don't seem to care. Awful attitude from management. Can't imagine what kind of care the patients receive.

Very unprofessional. Especially the hiring supervisor, Christina. I applied way over a month ago and never heard from anyone. I did my application and supposedly they was waiting for my background check. When I asked for a copy Christina the hiring manager told me they can't give out copies. Today I called in concern of my background & job position. Now they never heard of me and there was never a background check started. Really shouldn't do this to people who are in need of work. I was actually excited to join their team, but apparently they "forgot" me.

Been living in the neighborhood with this business for almost a decade. Everytime they rack up a certain number of negative reviews, they change the company name. They do not seem to care at all about their residents. Presently they have some kind of mechanical malfunction that is non stop squealing through the entire neighborhood. According to them, there is nothing they can do. From a block away, it's noise pollution that never stops, I can't imagine what those residents are living with. Must be like Git Mo in there. I'd never subject anyone I cared for to that.

To whom this may concern. My wife was discharged from this facility one week ago today. Her name is Susan Pocernich. This is her Husband Ron Pocernich. The staff treated her with respect and was very professional. I feel this place was well kept and take great care in their clients. It felt like family with alot of love to go around. I would recommend this facility to anyone. They really care and it shows. Thank you very much!!!! Great Job.

This place is one of the most unprofessional places I've worked as an agency cna. The employees are allowed to lie about you and say you refused to do something when their own staff are the ones who refuse to do something they said they would do. I would think twice about coming to work here unless you are buddies with the DON who probably doesnt care about you otherwise.

I would have loved to give this place a better rating but being how they use agency nurses on a constant basis so there's no Tot newly of care.. These patients get minimal caget minimal care ceiling links any time it rains I'm at rains the rooms are dirty Floor sticky the Don the Don plays favorites with with certain staff members and they're quick to title instead of coming up and confronting and confronting the person There is mold in places I can't even describe Doors are hard to open These poor residents deserve better
