Dr. Martino was the first doc in over 20 years of migraines to get me meds that helped. But when I started having some issues other docs thought might be related to the migraine meds I was totally shut down and dismissed. Trying to renew an existing rx has been a nightmare because the pharmacy and office cannot decide who is going to initiate the prior authorization and I’m stuck in the middle. I can’t wait to move and not have to deal with this office. They’re great while everything is easy and smooth. Not so much when there were issues. If you have a straightforward issue and don’t need to change things up, they can take care of it. If you have changing issues, best of luck to you.

They had “declined to make an appointment” with me before I had a stroke which completely changed my life and left me unable to work. I was sent to them afterwards and have not been happy with their lack of treatment and unwillingness to be proactive in helping me. There was more that could have been done to prevent additional brain damage, but I had to discover that myself and see a vascular doctor to confirm. It is now too late to reverse continuing damage to my brain because my right carotid artery is completely blocked up into my brain. Don’t see these quacks.

At first I submitted a glowing report for Dr Martino’s office but after the extremely RUDE treatment by the front desk assistant, who I could tell was stonewalling me, I had to find another provider. I have seen Dr Martino on and off for 30 years. I was not given an appointment because the woman on the front desk said that I needed a referral. I explained that I had two insurances and finally said that I would pay out of pocket. No appointment granted. The lesson I learned is that when you are in dire straights, sometimes the provider and his staff are not there to help you. Even after I secured a referral, they would not give me an appointment.

The rude gal at the front no longer works there. It's got much better as far as customer service and treating humans like individuals with different needs. Dr. Thurston-Hicks has always been my doctor and has been attentive and actually has a back and forth communication and listens to the needs of the patient. Dr. Hicks even returns calls from her patients. The prior comments are true about the receptionist who would, 99% of the time answer the phone very rudely, cold and short as if we were interrupting her or bothering her, but they are making a 360°. The reception staffing changeover has been a good look for the company! Give them a chance. I recommend it. Reviews are there for not only the customers/patients but for the business to improve with public insight. Don't let the past of prior employees deter you from letting them help you. Good luck 😀

Didn't even look at my MRI or my medical records. Barely even knew my name. It was also a first visit I should say. After 3 or 4 years of already being seen by others. This man before he even knows my case decides to tell me all about myself. I just left because I try my very best not to be a rude or mean person. I really wanted to be both of those though.

For a place that offers psych help, maybe they should consider evaluating the rude front desk lady. So rude from the second you walk in, before you’ve even opened your mouth, that you know exactly what’s coming your way. She was rude to the people who came in after us as well, so it doesn’t appear to be a personal problem with us, but a personality issue. I should have taken advice from other past clients that I know personally, who have taken their care elsewhere. There was a discrepancy with an office policy, which despite never being an issue anywhere in the last 7 years, was an issue here. It’s completely understandable for a company to uphold a policy, but does not need to be dealt with so rudely. Considering she was rude before the policy issue even came up, I have to assume that this is just the customer service that is offered. Perhaps they don’t like to see referrals from chiefs. Or maybe this is the office’s culture and they hire people who are like this as it seems other reviewers have complaints of front desk staff over the years. I highly doubt they care if they lose people, but I felt compelled to say it anyways. This does not make me trust the kind of care that will be received and we will be finding another provider. There is a way to treat people and this was not it. I’m actually embarrassed for their office.

Front office Manager , was very rude when answering the phone and was quick to cut me off when asking questions . When she first answered as if i was calling from a providers office not asking if i was calling about something else. When asking questions she wouldn’t even let you finish without saying Mmhm or Yup. She rushed me off the phone , i didn’t appreciate that at all….

If I could give a minus I would. I would never advice anyone to go there. As a professional and working family this office is the most unprofessional office I have ever seen. Actually I wasn't able to see. All I needed was for her to go over my current meds and see if any of them would be causing a health issue I am going through. Instead we ended up being accused of looking for drugs. Unbelievable. Never meet the women. Never walked into that office and every appt made was messed up then blamed on me. I was told I could never make another appt. I cant beleive that if she or he had seen issues with me getting in they would atleast call and find out what was going on before lashing out on people and refusing service. I cant take any controlled substances. I am allergic and have never been on anything that would be addictive. Nor am I now. Nor is any member of my family. I cant beleive I am even writing this. I have never left a poor review on anyone.
