It’s part of my life now - I LOVE this place because my therapist, Madison, is absolutely magical and the best. The receptionist, aka social butterfly, Christina, is amazing and helpful. EPTG is so lucky to have them. They’ve made this place special to me. I’ve been doing physical therapy with them 3 sessions a week for 3 months now, and going to PT session is like becoming healthier while visiting friends. About the physical therapy: I have problems with my neck, lower back, and knees. Even though I haven’t been able to pay attention to my posture while working at home and didn’t do the homework that Madison gave me, the workout she made me do during the sessions, and her massage have made my situation much better. My lower back seldom hurts after several sessions with her, and my glute and leg muscles have gotten much stronger, and I can see the results! Also, I didn’t need to worry about progression - Madison constantly checked in and arranged new workouts or progressions to make sure I improved. I cared a lot about form, and she’s been very patient and helpful in showing and explaining the correct forms. Also, I’m a big deep tissue massage person, and Madison did a great job in that - my neck and back pain get instantly relieved after she massaged those parts. I feel confident that I can achieve my goals with her guidance. About the vibe: I love the vibe here as I can relax and get comfortable. This is one of the reasons that, though I’m so lazy, I can make three sessions a week. Christina is so sweet, and she organized games like Easter egg scavenger hunts. Small but fun! I was late most of the time, and they never scolded me. They don’t cancel my appointments even when I remembered the session time wrong. My husband’s insurance gave him a hard time, but Christina did a great job handling his insurance. Originally, I didn’t talk much with Madison or Christina as I didn’t like socializing, but now I love sharing things in my life with them. About the environment: They have a clean bathroom and clean beds. It’s not a big place, but they have enough devices and tools so I can use them to exercise specific parts. The therapists and receptionists always did the cleaning in between sessions, and you can see them clean their towels, beds, and pillow covers.

Exchange Place therapy center is a great place for recovery. My therapist Cassandra is awesome. She is very professional and explains the exercises and progress very well while being fun. I love going to EPTG.

Exchange Physical Therapy is a wonderful group. It's very clean, the receptionists are very nice and helpful. More importantly, all the therapists are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. You feel that you are in good hands. I go 3 times /week for a balance problem. My therapist, Kassandra, is always on her game. She is so creative, I never repeat an experience though I work on the same muscle groups. I look forward to every session. I have improved immensely. I hope you check out Exchange Physical Therapy. You won't regret it.

I came here for my neck and shoulder pain last summer. I was nervous about getting treated at a new place, but James and Amy were so friendly that any apprehension I had was dispelled. My pain and stiffness were gone after a few sessions and my range of motion improved. The trustworthy environment they created is something I'm really grateful for. I highly recommend EPTG to anyone needing physical therapy

EPTG was quite the revelation for me. You have to experience it firsthand. First time physical therapy patient. Both of my shoulders have a torn rotator cuff, issues left untreated by me for over a year. [yes, yes, I know!] My doctor at NYP recommended I get PT and knowing where I live, recommended EPTG. My first encounter was at the Uptown Hoboken office where I made an appointment with James Ruggiero. He was very polite, knowledgeable, professional and an overall super chill guy. Little did I know at that first visit, I was in fact meeting my torturer and healer. He completed a thorough exam of my shoulders, tendon and ligament manipulation followed by exercises to help the situation. You will hurt, but not overly so. My arms were rotated into multiple positions. He noted my limited range of motion and where my pain began. The goal is to push the pain marker further away, increase your rotation/flexibility and make you stronger. For over a year I have not been able to sleep on my side, or I’d wake up in pain if I rolled over in the night. Within 6 weeks I was sleeping on my side again. I have not been able to stretch my arms over my head, like you would do with a good old yawn when you jump out of bed in the morning. I am stretching again - pure joy. I continue PT a few times a week, complemented with some home workouts specifically designed for my issues. And, they will give you an app to show you how to perform those exercises properly and safely at home. When my barber moves, I don’t follow. However, when James moved to Jersey City location, I followed, immediately. I have also seen Nikhil who was wonderful. The front of staff are amazing. They are informative, kind and very welcoming. They always greet me with a smile and a laugh, I thank them for that. Lastly, I’d say, stop putting off what hurts you, that little ache that we ‘learn to deal with’. There is no need for that when a little physical therapy can be of tremendous help. It certainly has improved the quality of my life for which I am most grateful. TJ

Dr.Kristina is fantastic! With her assistance, my recovery from a lower back injury was quick. Initially, I faced difficulties bending down or twisting my body, but after just a few sessions, I experienced significant improvement. Her support and comforting approach throughout our sessions made the process much more reassuring. She taught me so many helpful exercises to enhance my core strength and she even manually adjusted my SI joint back into place. I'm so grateful for her exceptional care and guidance!

Every physical therapist at this clinical has been extremely helpful in some way, shape, or form in regards to helping me get back on the path of a pain free life. As a powerlifter, I am constantly putting my body under lots of physical stress, and Dr. Madison and Dr. Cassandra have been crucial to the recovery process of the injuries and pains and I have acquired throughout training. I appreciate Dr. Madison's attention to detail and to the person she is treating. Whether you are her only patient or she has several patients, I feel like she is always keeping an eye on you, and doing her best to understand what the problem is so that she can provide relief and solutions. Dr. Cassandra is always challening me and my body in new ways every session that help me progress not only in pt but in the gym too, which is always appreciated. Great front desk staff too! Super kind and super helpful with any questions I've ever had.

Tamanna is an excellent physical therapist. I come every week with the most annoying and repetitive questions and she is always very patient and answers them kindly. She also provides really good exercises and stretches, as well as a comprehensive take home stretching plan, that I believe have really been helping my recovery process. 5/5 stars, 10/10, no notes
